After seeing the police, Koyal and Mauri are shocked. Sagar gets out of his car and follows the police, who arrest Mauri. The inspector says Mr. Sagar and Miss Vedika Sharma have given them enough evidence to arrest them; Koyal asks what proof they have, and Sagar asks the inspector to show the video, which shows Mauri holding the necklace box.
Mauri explains that when she attempted to return the necklace, Koyal had assured her that no one would be informed. However, Koyal is now accusing them of theft. Mauri desperately pleads with the Inspector not to arrest her daughter but instead to take herself. Confused, Koyal questions why she would be arrested when she has done nothing wrong. But Mauri reveals that she is willing to face the consequences and protect her mother while ensuring Koyal’s safety. Sagar, seething with anger, storms off to his car as the Inspector arrests Mauri and takes her away.
As Koyal cries, she turns towards Vedika, who insists that her mother has not returned the necklace. Angrily, Koyal interrupts her and reminds her of their past encounter when she caught them in the act during a pooja. She then declares that they are leaving the city so Vedika won’t have to face her again. In response, Vedika defends herself by stating that Koyal does not know the truth about what happened with her parents and how she was falsely accused of stealing. Nevertheless, Koyal warns Vedika not to say anything against her mother and clarifies that her mother scolded her earlier because Vedika had called the police on them.
Vedika accuses Koyal of being a thief and the one responsible for their predicament. Koyal denies any wrong-doing but admits to feeling guilty. Vedika insists once again that she did not involve the police. Koyal questions who could have reported them. At this moment, Sagar reveals that he was the one who called the police. He dismisses them as nothing but common thieves. Despite their differences, Vedika asks Sagar for a moment to speak with Koyal, who declines as she is aware of their secret plan and wants no part in it.
Sagar cautions Koyal that she has no right to meddle in their affairs. However, Koyal insists on intervening, and Sagar attempts to pull Vedika away, but Koyal stops him and brings Vedika in front of her. She reveals that Vedika had threatened to end their relationship and proceeds to take out a pair of earrings. According to Koyal, Vedika had given them as a reminder for her to always keep by her side, but now it is only fitting for Vedika to keep them as a symbol of how she betrayed her. As a result, Koyal will be the one breaking off their relationship.
Koyal says that no matter if Vedika or Sagar called the police, her mother was blamed, so now Vedika will suffer, for this is the promise of a daughter. Vedika pulls Sagar’s hand, taking her away from Koyal, who keeps staring at her.
As Sagar buckles his seat belt, Vedika criticizes his decision and questions the necessity of involving the police. In response, Sagar defends his actions by stating that this is the proper course of action for dealing with criminals. Vedika then mentions that Koyal believes she was the one who alerted the authorities. As Sagar reminds Vedika to fasten her seat belt, she struggles to remove it. Without hesitation, Sagar comes to her aid and suggests she relax as he stands beside her. Gradually, a smile appears on Vedika’s face as she inquires how he found her without any prior information from her. Sagar confidently reveals that he knows her whereabouts and reads it in her expression, leading him to follow her and notify the police.
Sagar tells Vedika he knows whatever happened with her family and herself in the lockup was wrong. Then, Sagar asks if Koyal did not help her mother steal the necklace. Although Vedika cannot deny Sagar’s accusations, she does not understand why she feels so bad when she tells Koyal she does not want to keep a relationship. Sagar replies because she is nice.
The man replies that Vedika is very soft-hearted and polite, even to those who are harsh to her. Sagar stops the car. Vedika asks why he brought her here. He replies that he thinks she should get the answer to all the questions since no one should be able to harm his Vedika after putting her under false accusations. Sagar asks Vedika to give him her hand, and she smiles and hands it to him.
Once inside the Maheshwari Mansion, Sagar calls Dadi, Papa, and everyone. When Saraswathi comes out, she is happy to see Vedika but still angry. Rajeshwari asks why Sagar is yelling and then what Vedika is doing here. Sagar says that means she didn’t hear the news. Rajeshwari asks what the news is. After vocally expressing her unwillingness to forgive Rajeshwari for seven generations, Vedika watches as Rajeshwari attempts to walk away. However, Vedika quickly interjects, realizing that Rajeshwari’s deception and misconduct will not go unnoticed. Despite Rajeshwari’s claim of superiority, Vedika confidently stands a few steps above her. As Rajeshwari nearly stumbles, Vedika offers assistance but is met with rejection. In response, Vedika remarks on the potential danger of standing on high steps. Digvijay then reprimands Vedika for her tone, but Sagar intervenes before the situation escalates further.
When Saraswathi says she is glad Vedika was proven innocent, Vedika begins walking away. Vedika replies that Saraswathi remembers that she also didn’t trust her during the days of Dayal Ji. Still, she was not wrong at that time because Dayal Ji had snatched everything from Saraswathi, but this time, it was about her character, so she had no choice but to accept that she could steal at her house. Saraswathi is like her mother to Vedika, but this time, she will say that she cannot be like her mother.
