According to Vedika, Saraswathi’s actions have proven that she is not like her mother. If she had been, Vedika would not have doubted her, and her mother would not have accused her of stealing the necklace. Vedika explains that she only wanted to confide in herself but was met with a lifetime of suffering when Saraswathi initially tried to mimic a motherly figure and abruptly changed course. Regardless, Vedika is determined to uncover the truth about Gautham Sir’s accident. She admits she didn’t want to be here, but Sagar Sir brought her, and she expresses gratitude to him for everything.

Vedika gazed at Rajeshwari and Digvijay and declared that the story was far from over. Their anxious expressions grew when she left the Maheshwari mansion, with Saraswathi attempting to stop her. Digvijay accused Vedika of disrespecting everyone, but Sagar defended her actions, stating that Digvijay himself had done wrong. He affirmed that Vedika had every right to question them. Digvijay argued that her behavior resulted from Sagar’s influence and asked if he would turn against them because of “this girl.” Sagar confidently responded that he would indeed stand up for her, smiling as Rajeshwari inquired about the identity of the mysterious girl.

Upon hearing Sagar’s remark about Vedika potentially becoming his daughter-in-law, Suphedra asks him to explain. Sagar then reassures Digvijay that he will eventually obtain the desired land but reminds him of their stance against dowry. He also reveals that Vedika is determined to see this battle through and must both be prepared for it. His comparison of this situation to the epic Mahabharat shocks everyone, and Sagar walks away with a smile while Digvijay appears concerned.

The Inspector attempts to harm Mauri physically, but she manages to evade his attacks. Upon spotting Koyal, Mauri kneels before the constable and pleads for her to stop beating her. She kindly asks Koyal to leave, as she may also get arrested. The constable informs Koyal that they have not yet set a court date, implying that her mother could potentially be in jail for a long time. Koyal responds by asking if there is any way to avoid this situation. The constable mentioned a sum of five hundred thousand rupees, to which Koyal stated they did not have that much money. The constable then points out that Mauri’s mother has a large and seemingly valuable item with her.

Koyal meets with Mauri and informs her that someone has requested five hundred thousand rupees. Curious, Mauri inquires about the contents of the bag. She ponders how to explain that it contains the money given by Rajeshwari. Koyal also mentions the necklace, and Mauri reveals she had been saving it for Koyal’s wedding. The mysterious person then announces they have managed to lure out their mother and quickly departs. Feeling remorseful, Koyal apologizes to her mother for not taking her advice to stay away from Vedika. As Mauri comforts her, Koyal swears to obey her mother’s orders and expresses disdain towards Vedika for what she has done to them. Embracing in a hug, Mauri supports Koyal’s emotions.

As Padma gazes at the family photo, memories of Vedika’s doubts flood her. But she quickly reassures herself that Vedika is their daughter, clutching the picture to her chest and shedding a tear. Kishori Lal offers her water, which she gratefully accepts, and promises to get her medicine. As she looks around the mandir, her eyes rest on the Kalash, and she reminisces about Saraswathi showing them the other one and explaining its rarity. Determined, Padma takes the Kalash in hand and states it can no longer remain here.

In response to Kishori Lal’s question about throwing the Kalash, Padma answers that she does not want Vedika to discover the truth, as there is the same Kalash in the Maheshwari house. Kishori Lal asks Padma if she has thought about how much Saraswathi ji has suffered over the past twenty years. She says that nothing can happen without GhatuSham ji’s desire, and they have both raised her as a child, but they still consider her a thief.

Padma is determined to keep the truth from her, but Kishori Lal believes it’s the wrong path. Padma argues that she is not Jhanvi but Vedika. Kishori Lal warns that the truth will come out eventually, causing them to lose respect in Vedika’s eyes. To ensure their secret stays safe, Padma makes Kishori Lal promise not to tell anyone about the Kalash and to reveal the truth to Vedika. After swearing on the Kalash and taking it to be placed in the Mandir, Kishori Lal senses someone watching from the window. He quickly brings Padma away, reassuring her he won’t divulge anything.

As the students hurried to study, their excitement rose with the news of Didi’s arrival. Sagar noticed the rocks and attempted to warn her, but Vedika was already engrossed in a game. When Vedika stated that Didi must praise her instead of uttering anything else, Sagar reminded her that she was playing the wrong game. However, Vedika defended herself by saying that people were playing games with her, just like Koyal, Mauri, and even Saraswathi’s aunt had done. She expressed gratitude towards Sagar for being the only one who believed and never questioned her. Sagar replied that she had earned his trust, and Vedika promised never to break it.

Sagar and Vedika were having a heated conversation. She confessed that she would never betray his trust, even if it meant losing his support. Sagar declared that he would never have her on his team because she lacked the skills to play the game, much like Jhanvi. Vedika, feeling angry, hit a nearby rock before Sagar quickly regained control of the situation. However, instead of remaining upset, Vedika began to laugh at the irony of how Sagar had described her as being too sensitive, yet now she needed answers from him. Sagar inquired why she had suddenly lost her smile again and what could be done to bring it back. Despite her attempt to walk away, Sagar stopped her by gently holding her hand and promised to find something that would make her happy. Remembering that Vedika loved the rain, Sagar vowed to make it happen for her.

Vedika remarks that Sagar speaks like a child, but he challenges her to say it and witness his magic. She admits she enjoys it but reminds him that the rule of law governs rain and cannot be controlled to one person’s liking. As Vedika walks away, the rain suddenly starts pouring down on her. She begins to delight in it when Sagar joins her and claims credit for making it happen. Vedika questions how it was possible so quickly, prompting Sagar to reveal that he asked someone on a nearby balcony to increase the rain. Initially annoyed with Sagar, Vedika can’t help but smile at his antics.

Precap:

In the rain, Vedika and Sagar dance together, Vedika tells her mother she is in love with him, Padma asks what his name is, Vedika replies, Sagar Maheshwari.
