Shiv Shakti 17th June 2024 Written Episode begins with Shiv asking a passerby about the river. The man replies that it is on the opposite side of where they are. Shiv explains to Shakti that he had seen the board of the river and followed that direction, so how did they end up here? Shakti tells him not to overthink and says they can still drive there. Shiv worries it will take too much time and reminds her they need to return for Koyal and Dharam’s haldi ceremony. He decides they cannot go to that river and instead they should head to Shivpur, where Gayatri wanted her last rites to be performed. Shiv starts the car and drives away, unaware that a snake-man is hiding nearby. The man watches them closely, saying Mohini’s prey is heading straight towards her.
Meanwhile, Dadi feels restless and prays for Shiv and Shakti’s safety. She says she will awaken in seven hours after twenty-five years and fears a bad omen is approaching.
Shiv and Shakti reach the river and perform Gayatri’s ashes visarjan. Shiv expresses that he finally feels at peace. They then visit a mandir to pray for her soul. Shiv notices the mandir is empty, but Shakti reassures him it is daytime and nothing to fear. Kartik runs outside to play with a stray dog, while Shiv begins his prayers. Shakti smiles at him until suddenly the bells of the mandir start ringing loudly. Alarmed, they rush to check and are shocked to see a snake wrapped around one of the bells. Shakti looks around anxiously, realising Kartik is missing.
Back at home, Dadi continues her prayers for Shiv and Shakti’s return. Sundari arrives with mehndi, asking Dadi to join her at Manorama’s house. Dadi refuses, saying she is worried. Sundari questions her, and Dadi reveals that Shiv and Shakti have not returned yet. Just then, the priest arrives and asks about them. He says they never came to him for the visarjan ceremony. Dadi is shocked and confused, realising that Shiv and Shakti left hours ago but never reached their destination.
Shiv and Shakti continue searching for Kartik outside the mandir. Shakti insists they must find him quickly as a snake is nearby, and they cannot risk his safety.
Precap: Shiv is seen praying when two Icchadhari Naag appear. They threaten him, saying he must now pay for his sins and that his destruction is near.
