Shiv Shakti 1st August 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Shakti feeding Kartik while wearing gloves. Padma advises her to keep distance from him, but Shakti reminds her not to hurt Kartik’s feelings. Mohini enters, dressed elaborately. Padma remarks that she looks like a married woman. Mohini smiles and says she is married and might soon reunite with her husband.
A lizard appears on the wall, frightening Sundari. Mohini steps forward and says she will handle it. She secretly eats the lizard in her naagin form but pretends to have shooed it away. She tells Shakti that the lizard slipped out through the window and walks off. Shakti is confused by her behaviour.
Dadi asks Shakti to begin the pooja and call Shiv.
Shiv wakes from a nightmare about Kartik and feels responsible for failing to protect him. Shakti arrives and notices his distress. She reassures him, saying this is a test they must face together and that Kartik will recover. She hugs him and he finally smiles, saying she is his strength.
Meanwhile, the woman hugging Shiv is not Shakti but Mohini disguised as her. After the hug, she shifts into her real naagin form and disappears. The real Shakti arrives moments later. Shiv is confused and asks how she has entered the room when she was just there hugging him moments earlier. Shakti says she only arrived now. Shiv insists he saw her there and even spotted a snake. He then finds snake skin on the floor and realises a snake was indeed present in the room. He says the snake is still inside the house. Dadi calls them, so he leaves. Shakti recalls Mohini’s behaviour and starts connecting the dots, suspecting her involvement.
Mohini later meets Beera, who says it is good she cares for Kundan but questions why she is torturing Kartik. He suggests she should focus on reviving Kundan. Mohini replies that she must scare Shiv to obtain Shakti’s anklet and tells him to watch what happens next.
The family gathers for the pooja. Dadi remembers Mohini’s threats and is visibly shaken. Shakti calls out to her, but Dadi does not respond at first. When Shakti asks again, she nods and continues the rituals, silently praying for the safety of her family. Shiv brings sticks to the pooja and says he will use physical force if needed to protect the family from fear and danger.
In another room, Mohini begins her naagin dance, celebrating her nearing victory. She declares that she will soon reunite with Kundan.
