The episode opens with Mandira declaring her dominance over the Suryavanshi mansion. Dharam tries to attack Keertan, but Keertan draws a gun and warns him to back off if he wants to stay alive. Koyal steps in, protecting Dharam and reminding Keertan that Dharam is her would-be husband. Keertan coldly dismisses her, claiming loyalty only to his mother and accusing Koyal of betrayal.
Mandira mocks the family, insisting that Shiv and Shakti are likely dead. Manorama urges Dadi to leave with her so they can regroup and fight back once the couple is found. The family prepares to leave, but Mandira orders them out entirely. As they exit, Dadi pauses at the doorstep, her eyes brimming with tears. At the last moment, she refuses to leave her home, vowing to stay despite the humiliation.
Meanwhile, Shakti tends to Shiv’s gunshot wound. Her hands tremble, but Shiv reassures her to focus as his doctor. While she stitches him up, Shakti asks about the fateful night of Gayatri’s death. Shiv recalls the flashback:
He entered Gayatri’s room, ready to apologise for believing Mandira’s lies about Gauri’s death. Shiv admitted his mistakes, acknowledging that Gayatri never complained despite his cruelty. But as he turned her around, he was horrified to find a knife lodged in her back. Gayatri collapsed, already lifeless. Shiv insists Mandira was behind the murder and says they must retrieve Gayatri’s post-mortem report without alerting her.
Back at the mansion, Nandu decides to leave with the rest of the family, declaring his home is wherever his loved ones are. Padma, however, stays behind, defending her loyalty to Mandira. Dadi lashes out, accusing her of tearing the family apart and warning that divine justice will come.
Later, Shiv disguises himself and heads to the police station with Shakti, determined to keep his survival a secret until the right moment. Shakti requests Gayatri’s post-mortem report, but the inspector tells her to return later. As she leaves, another officer approaches, revealing himself as the father of the boy Shiv saved from choking. Grateful for Shiv’s heroism, he promises to help them and take the risk of retrieving the report. Shakti smiles, noting that the Lord always helps those who help others.
