She cries and says how could I think there would be something between us. She recalls their moments together and cries. She says it is a good thing that he doesn’t feel anything, otherwise we will stop seeing each other and our relationship will end.
Having trouble sleeping, Shiv remembers Mohan’s statement that he loves Shakti. He says I should not have acted that way, if Shakti finds out, she will not want to see me again. He says this relationship cannot end this way. Shiv says it was okay and I need to go there tomorrow for Rimjhim’s function. Mandira says Shakti will also be there and she gives him medicines. He thanks her and falls asleep.

In the morning, Manorama is getting ready for the haldi ceremony but appears anxious. Shakti joins her and inquires about her worries. Manorama shares that the pooja for Rimjhim could not be completed and Shiv did not break her fast either. When asked if Shiv has broken her fast, Shakti remembers and anticipates that Manorama will continue to worry. However, Manorama clarifies that he did not. At that moment, Chacha informs them about a call from Ranjan which Shakti puts on speakerphone. Ranjan confirms their visit with shagun for the haldi ceremony at their house. After ending the call, Manorama starts to panic about preparations while Shakti tries to comfort her by saying it was their responsibility to inform them beforehand about this ritual. Despite this reminder, Manorama asks her to stop it. Just then, their aunt Ambika arrives and is greeted by all family members.
Ambika inquires of Manorama if Rimjhim will find happiness in her future in-laws’ home. Shakti interjects, stating that those individuals are egotistic, leading her to believe otherwise. Manorama requests that Shakti refrain from saying such things. Ambika wonders if Rimjhim will receive the affection of a mother from her mother-in-law. Manorama clarifies that while Rimjhim will be their daughter-in-law, she cannot be their daughter, but she does hope for them to love her. Ambika asks if they truly will love her. She suggests finding a household where she is treated with the love of a daughter-in-law and even offers to assist with wedding arrangements before exiting. Shakti agrees with Ambika’s sentiments and prompts Manorama to stop worrying about the wedding preparations before leaving as well. Acknowledging Manorama’s concerns, Shakti expresses her desire for the haldi ceremony not to take place.
