As Shakti exits Shiv’s room, she leaps out the window in front of Dadi, Gayatri, and Shiv. Dadi remarks about the unexpected arrival and quick departure of this girl. She hopes that Shakti will be able to prevent Shiv from signing the papers. Gayatri sees her as a glimmer of hope, and Dadi agrees. Suddenly, Mandira appears and is surprised to find Gayatri in Shiv’s room. She quietly questions why Dadi is being friendly towards her. As Ragunath joins them, Mandira wonders what they are all watching outside the window – Shakti attempting to start her motorbike.
Shiv reassures everyone that it’s nothing to be concerned about. Ragunath then gently moves Gayatri away from the window, only to find that Shakti has disappeared. He questions why they were all looking outside, to which Dadi explains that there was a mouse in Shiv’s room and they were just helping him out. Ragunath directs his attention to Gayatri and asks why she was in Shiv’s room. Dadi interjects, stating that she was merely escorting Gayatri out. Gayatri leaves the room as Mandira suspects that they are trying to interfere with her plan. In an effort to reassure Shiv, Mandira presents him with diamond cufflinks, comparing him to a precious gem that will always shine wherever he goes. She reminds him that even if he no longer holds the position of MD, he will always hold a special place in her heart as her son. Shiv gratefully accepts the gift and thanks his mother with a smile.
Upon arriving home, Shakti is immediately greeted by Manorama’s scolding for her tardiness. Without wasting any time, Manorama directs Shakti to prepare for the engagement function. As they enter the room, Manorama inquires about whether Shakti met with Shiv? She then proceeds to question why Shakti would prioritize him over her own family. However, Shakti asserts that she cannot simply forget about him as he is currently facing difficulties because of her actions and even Rimjhim is now suffering the consequences. In fact, Rimjhim has agreed to compromise on this marriage due to fears of not receiving any other proposals after the news broke out.
If Rimjhim is happy with this proposal, Manorama asks her. Rimjhim looks away. Manorama asks if there is another guy? Shakti asks Rimjhim to not lie anymore. I’ve known you since childhood and I’ve seen that your silence represents helplessness. Rimjhim says I am just sad that I am leaving my family, but I am doing this engagement on my own. Shkati is happy, so Manorama asks her not to put things in her mind.
Ragunath voices his belief that Mandira is more of a mother to Shiv than Gayatri, leading Dadi to admonish him for his constant bitterness towards Gayatri. She reminds everyone that she is well aware of Gayatri’s shortcomings as a mother and her involvement in a murder. Meanwhile, Gayatri remains silent while standing outside, prompting Ragunath to question if they want her to stop breathing too. Despite this tense exchange, Shiv agrees with Dadi’s plea for peace and suggests they all focus on preparing for the upcoming party. As Dadi and Ragunath leave together, Mandira takes note of the unusual display of unity between Dadi and Shiv in support of Gayatri. Later, when Gayatri calls out to Shiv, he simply glances at her before departing. For the first time in years, Dadi has taken Gayatri’s side and even Shiv acknowledged her presence. It seems that whenever Shakti visits, it brings a sense of positivity to the household.
I know why you keep chanting Shiv’s name and dreaming big, but you don’t put the same thing in Rimjhim’s mind. Manorama tells Shakti that I know why you do all this. She will get engaged today and that’s final. She asks her to start getting ready and takes her from there. It is just Shiv signing his resignation papers today that I have to focus on, Mandira says.
Dadi inquires of Nandu his thoughts on whether Shakti can prevent the resignation. Nandu responds that with only an hour remaining, he doubts she can make much of an impact. At that moment, Shiv enters and reminds them that an hour consists of 60 minutes and many things can occur within that time frame. He further adds that he has witnessed Shakti’s determination and once she speaks, she follows through. Dadi playfully remarks on Shiv’s newfound understanding of Shakti, to which Shiv confidently replies that no one knows Shakti better than him. This light-hearted banter catches the attention of Mandira, who wonders why they seem so cheerful despite the situation at hand.
Shikti says I have to expose Mandira so I can stop all this injustice. Mandira goes to Shiv, Dadi and Nandu.. she says I know this isn’t good, but we have to get Shiv’s resignation exactly at 7:30pm. Even she is anticipating that time, so she gets ready. Padma asks Mandira what she is thinking? She replies that they don’t seem sad, they seem hopeful.
While working on her laptop, Shakti recalls how Mandira claimed to have deleted the CCTV footage. As she recalls how she had copied the footage in her phone during Shiva’s argument with the manager, Shakti says now is the time to expose Mandira.
