Shiv informs Padma that while Manorama may have a sharp tongue, she deeply cares for her family and will do anything to protect them. Manorama arrives with Mandira and states this as the reason for her presence. Dadi gives her a stern look, remembering how she had previously insulted her, and questions why she is here now. Manorama humbly touches Dadi’s feet and apologizes for her actions. She quietly expresses remorse to everyone, admitting she doesn’t know how to apologize appropriately. Shiv intervenes and tells Manorama there’s no need for apologies, as it does not suit her. Manorama then reveals the purpose of her visit – she has come with a request and is willing to beg if necessary. Curious, Dadi asks what the request is about. Meanwhile, Mandira hopes that Manorama will play her part well. Manorama recalls Mandira’s words about Shakti having to marry Shiv before Keertan can marry Rimjhim.
She sits alone, remembers how Shiv told her he didn’t love her and is sad about that. Rimjhim arrives. Shakti asks where is Manorama? Shiv tells Manorama that she can ask for anything. They are a family. Manorama says, “I want you all to become our in-laws and accept my daughter as your daughter-in-law.” All look on in awe.
Rimjhim tells Shakti that Maa has left to make our lives set. I’m so happy. I want both my daughters to be a part of this family. She leaves. Shakti is stressed and says she doesn’t know what to do. She is scared. She prays to the Lord. Shiv informs Manorama that, indeed, the son of our house will be your son-in-law, Keertan. Manorama says she wants to become your mother-in-law as well. All except Shiv are happy to hear that.
I’m afraid that’s not right, we don’t love each other, so we cannot get married. Shiv makes her sit down and tells her not to listen to his family, but Manorama says it’s my wish. We both don’t want to be a couple, Shiv says. We’re just friends, so don’t ruin Shakti’s life; she doesn’t love me. Manorama says she does. She loves you deeply. Shiv is stunned to hear that and asks what?
Manorama constantly talks about you, she lights up when you call her, your pain hurts her and she always strives to protect you. If this isn’t love, then what is? Her feelings for you run deep. Shiv becomes overwhelmed and remembers his experience. Nandu urges him to acknowledge it now. Raghunath agrees. Dadi pleads with him to accept their wishes. However, Shiv storms out in anger while everyone watches on in disappointment. Dadi expresses her frustration over his behavior. Manorama asks Mandira why he left abruptly, and Mandira reassures her that he might be shy but assures her that the marriage will still happen as planned.
