Ragunath angrily confronts Padma, asking if they hadn’t already given her everything she needed. He questions what possible harm they could have caused and what more she could possibly want. In response, Padma raises her voice, shouting that all she wanted was respect – something that has never been granted to her or her son in this household. She points out that their family has always treated them like a burden and openly accuses them of keeping her son around solely to serve Shiv, even going as far as calling him a mere “puppy.” She recalls how her son has tirelessly assisted Shiv without ever receiving any acknowledgement or praise from their family. Despite this mistreatment, when her son was unfairly punished, Ragunath now expects her to sympathize.
Mandira expresses her satisfaction, as Nandu has helped him like a brother, and there is no differentiation between them. Shakti informs Shiv that there is more to the truth. Shiv expresses his gratitude for their efforts but states that it is now a family matter and asks everyone to leave. Ragunath addresses the board to declare that his son was falsely accused and will not step down as MD of the hospital. Despite Mandira’s anger, the board member cannot intervene. She blames Shakti for ruining her plan.
Mandira tells Shakti to leave their family matter now. Shakti says I have become part of this game now. Mandira says you are right to be angry, but we did not know Padma was behind this. She says she will be punished for her actions. She hugs her and whispers that I will not spare you and Shiv… I promise to make my son MD and trustee of the hospital, count until you are destroyed. Dadi says no one will ask Shiv to resign. From here, all guests leave.
Shiv expresses his gratitude to Shakti for consistently coming to his aid and never losing faith. Shakti responds with a sincere thank you for trusting her and giving her the strength to persevere. Shiv acknowledges that he no longer needs to struggle because Shakti is by his side, making their shared dreams even more ambitious. He believes that Shakti is a blessing from God, sent to set things right. As Shakti glances at the time and her phone, she appears anxious. Shiv reminds her about her sister’s engagement and questions if everything is all right. Without hesitation, Shakti hurries off, leaving Mandira wondering what could be troubling her sister.
Padma attempts to depart, but Dadi intercepts her with a stern tone. “You believe you can escape without facing the consequences? Pack your belongings and leave our house,” she commands. Shiv intervenes, telling Dadi to let it go. However, Dadi remains adamant. She insists that Padma must be expelled from the house, as there is a chance she will repeat her harmful actions. The rest of the family follows suit and exits the room. Meanwhile, Mandira revels in the thought that she has control over Padma but is now wounded. At this point, Padma breaks down and begs Mandira for help, but Mandira responds heartlessly. “What can I do? You should have considered the repercussions before attempting to harm Shiv. He is your nephew – how could you bear such ill will towards him?” She declares that she could never bring herself to harm Shiv and offers to assist with packing if needed before exiting the room. Padma continues to weep as Nandu tries to console her.
Upon arriving home, Shakti surveys the scene. Soon after, Manorama delivers a harsh slap. The room is filled with shock and disbelief. Through tears, Manorama declares that the engagement did not occur because of Shakti’s actions. In response, Shakti calmly explains that she is relieved because her sister, Rimjhim, did not actually want to get engaged and was only doing so under pressure. Furthermore, she reminds everyone that her news with Shiv has been proven innocent. Thus, there is no longer any need to fear or continue the engagement. Suddenly, Manorama slaps her again and angrily proclaims that she cannot allow Shakti to destroy her daughter’s life. Emphasizing their close relationship, she expresses how deeply she cared for Shakti as if she were her daughter. Nevertheless, Shakti stands firm in her decision to protect her sister from this unwanted marriage.
I think Mandira needs to find out who her sister is getting engaged to. Shakti has challenged me, but it’s time for me to enter her home. Padma says I took the blame because you promised to save me. Dadi wants me out of the house, so save me. What can I do now, Mandira asks? I thought your mother wouldn’t throw you out, but it feels like she’s waiting for the right moment. I can’t stand up to her. She loves Shiv, and I can’t stop her.
The only person who can save me is you. Please speak to Dadi and Ragunath otherwise. Mandira says otherwise; what? Padma says I will tell everyone the truth. Mandira laughs and says nobody is going to believe you, you have no respect in this house. You can go to your other son’s house for some time. Padma says his wife hates me. Mandira says you have no choice.
