Manorama calls Shakti to Shiv and leaves. Shakti arrives, but she is stressed. Keertan was fuming, furiously pounding the wall. Koyal appeared and intervened, halting his violent outburst. Tenderly, she tended to his wounds. “I lost my dream,” Keertan lamented. “We can’t let Shiv and Shakti get away with this,” Koyal concurred. “I only became a doctor for the power it brings, but Shakti ruined everything,” Keertan explained bitterly. “That girl has some nerve trying to reveal our mother’s secrets,” Koyal remarked. “Our mother had to apologize to that low-class family because of her.” “But don’t worry,” Koyal reassured him. “Shakti’s plan failed thanks to Mandira’s cunning tricks, so she must be plotting something else.”
They sit in the car. Ragunath asks where Shiv is? Mandira answers he stayed back to talk to Shakti. It’s good that he has a new friend. Ragunath nods.
As Dadi slips on her way to her room, Gayatri rushes to her side, concern etched on her face. “Are you alright?” she asks. Despite Gayatri’s apology for entering her room without permission, Dadi can’t help but cry out in pain. She laments that while her daughter-in-law sees her suffering, she is unable to do anything about it. Seeing Dadi in distress, Gayatri also begins to tear up and explains that she is bound by rules and cannot offer much assistance. However, when Dadi calls for her, Gayatri massages her feet. She offers to bring some herbs for Dadi’s injured foot, but the older woman declines and insists that the massage is enough. As Gayatri continues to soothe Dadi’s feet, the older woman reaches out and touches her head. “I know you made a mistake,” she says, “but I also know you are trying your best to make amends by bringing Shakti into this household.” Dadi expresses concern over Ragunath’s actions in apologizing to Shakti’s family and worries about his well-being. In response, Gayatri reassures her that even though Ragunath may not show it, she saw how
Shakti tells Shiv he wants to thank her, because she saved his dream when he lost hope. Shakti says I should thank you for fulfilling my dream, you know I’ve already got my admission letter and the college starts in 15 days, so I’m sorry you had to endure so much. I’ll become a doctor because of you.
“Why are you helping Shakti with her sister’s wedding when she snatched my dream? Have you forgotten who you are talking to? I tolerate you because you are my son, but there is a limit. Don’t even think about crossing it. I am only participating in the wedding to find out Rimjhim’s love interest so I can use them for my benefit.
