Suhaagan 18th August 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Swara preparing prasad in the kitchen. Koel secretly releases a snake into the kitchen, waiting for it to bite Swara. Just then, Vedant arrives asking for his protein shake. Swara accidentally cuts her finger, and Vedant quickly pulls her close to bandage the wound, scolding her for always hurting herself.
Meanwhile, Koel loses track of the snake and grows fearful that it might bite her instead. A mysterious lady enters the hall and captures the snake in a jar. Vedant gently bandages Swara’s finger, and she recites poetry, asking him to praise her. Vedant smiles but walks away. Soon, Manju arrives and notices Swara’s injury. She gives Swara clothes and jewellery to wear for the upcoming puja.
Elsewhere, Dhwani worries about the snake biting her, but Koel laughs and says only Swara will be bitten. She adds that the snake would die if it bit Dhwani. Koel recalls handing over the snake hidden in a clothes tray to the same mysterious lady. When Dhwani asks who the woman was, Koel brushes it off, saying some secrets should remain hidden. She insists they join the puja, confident that the Krait’s venom will soon take effect on Swara.
Swara gets ready in the clothes Manju gave her. With her injured finger, Vedant helps her adorn jewellery. As a romantic song plays, he makes her wear earrings, a necklace, and a maang tika. Finally, at her request, he kneels to make her wear anklets. Unseen by them, the mysterious lady recalls smearing snake poison on the anklet. Vedant then asks Swara to join him for the puja.
During the puja, Pandit ji calls Vedant forward. He sits with Swara, and together they begin the Naag Panchami rituals. Pandit ji applies tilak and guides everyone to participate. Koel tries to prevent Prabha from joining, but Prabha ensures Dadi sits in the front row. Swara and Vedant lead the maha aarti, followed by other couples. Swara invites Prabha to take part, but Vedant insists Prabha is only Dadi’s caretaker and has no rights in family rituals. Pandit ji then asks Swara to distribute the aarti plate.
Vedant tells Swara to give the aarti to his mother first, while Koel smirks. Suddenly, Swara feels weak and drowsy. She collapses mid-ritual, shocking everyone. Koel and Dhwani secretly rejoice while Vedant panics, shouting for water. Manju urges Abhi to call the doctor. Swara’s eyes remain open, but she is unresponsive. The doctor arrives, checks her, and fails to find a pulse. Vedant desperately asks if she is fine. The doctor gravely announces that Swara is no longer alive, leaving everyone stunned.
