Suhaagan 19th August 2024 Written Episode begins with the doctor checking Swara and declaring that she is no more. Vedant is shocked and refuses to believe it. Rudra also insists that the doctor check again, reminding everyone that Swara was just performing aarti. Koel acts devastated, crying about how she had dreamt of loving her daughter-in-law and playing with her grandchildren. Manju cries for Swara, while Dhwani pretends to console Koel and whispers that Swara can still hear them. Koel smirks, saying she will only be at peace once Swara is burnt alive. Swara, unable to move, hears everything and thinks about the conspiracy against her.
Vedant, refusing to accept the truth, decides to take Swara to the hospital. Koel panics, worrying that another doctor might save her. She tries to stop him, but Vedant insists Swara is alive and says he will get her treated. Swara is touched by his concern. Just then, Koel distracts everyone by shouting about a snake. Dhwani, who had planned it, points out fake bite marks on Swara’s leg, claiming the snake killed her. Rudra slaps Vedant, asking him to accept reality. Vedant is heartbroken while Swara thinks Koel must have poisoned her.
Later, Koel and Dhwani dress Swara as a bride for her last journey. Dhwani pretends to cry, whispering to Swara that she wanted to be a suhaagan herself and taunts her with red lipstick. Swara prays to Ambe Maa to send Vedant to save her. Vedant, meanwhile, recalls their marriage rituals and the moments when Swara saved his life.
Baldev, Pankaj, Shlok, and others arrive and mourn her. Shlok accuses Vedant of failing his sister. Indu notices Koel’s fake tears and mocks her glowing face. Naina asks Vedant to fill Swara’s maang one last time. Manju insists, saying his suhaagan is leaving him forever. With pain in his heart, Vedant fills Swara’s maang with sindoor. Swara, hearing this, feels she has been given her rightful place even while declared dead.
The family takes Swara to the cremation ground. Shlok places wood on her body while recalling their moments. Baldev breaks down, folding his hands in grief. The priest asks Vedant to take the ritual rounds with the pot. Koel whispers to Dhwani that they are finally rid of Swara. Vedant lifts the pot with trembling hands and prepares to take the rounds, deeply conflicted.
Precap: Vedant refuses to light the pyre and runs away. A priest tells him about the Krait snake and that those assumed dead can be revived with an antidote. Meanwhile, Koel urges Shlok to light the pyre, and he obeys. Vedant arrives just as the pyre begins to burn.
