Suhaagan 20th July 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Swara stepping into the alta water for her grah pravesh. Hidden glass pieces pierce her foot, making her wince in pain. Rudra asks if something is wrong, but Koel brushes it off, saying Swara must be missing her mayka and promises to take such care of her that she will forget her parental home. Koel cruelly urges her to keep walking, remarking that the real pain of her married life is yet to come.

Swara, though in tears, continues to walk. Due to blood loss, she slips, but Vedant rushes to catch her. He notices the injury and removes the glass piece from her foot, demanding to know how it got there. Koel pretends ignorance, acting surprised. When Swara insists she must complete 11 steps, Vedant gently assures her that he will help her finish the ritual. He lifts her in his arms and carries her to complete the steps.

Meanwhile, the Tantrik conducts Naina’s shuddhikaran ritual, filling the place with smoke. He claims that the soul of her first husband is still watching her and that until it leaves, she cannot begin her new life. Indu requests him to help remove the bad shadow. The Tantrik begins chanting and uses peacock feathers as part of the ritual, while Shlok and others remain unconvinced.

Back at the hall, Vedant makes Swara sit on the sofa and asks if she is in pain. Swara signs no, trying to stay strong. Rudra angrily points out that someone first tried to poison Vedant and now injured Swara. Manju questions Koel about how glass entered the alta plate if she had prepared it. Koel quickly shifts blame onto the servant, Rani, accusing her of both poisoning Vedant and planting glass pieces. She even threatens to have Rani arrested. Swara intervenes, asking her not to punish the servant. Rudra agrees, saying they will not arrest an innocent person without investigation, and focuses instead on welcoming Swara as the new bahu.

Dhwani later confronts Koel, saying their plan has failed as Swara has entered the house as Vedant’s wife despite all obstacles. Koel, unfazed, calls it only a small defeat. She vows to trouble Swara so much that she herself will leave the house. Dhwani warns her that Swara is a fighter, not easy to break. Together they plot again: Koel will act sweet but hurt Swara silently, while Dhwani plans to create distance between Swara and Vedant, ensuring their suhaagraat does not happen. Vrinda overhears and warns Koel not to support Dhwani, fearing harm could also affect Naina. Koel assures Vrinda that nothing will happen to Naina and orders her to stay out of it.

Vrinda later asks Swara in the temple to pray to Ambe Maa and perform 108 chants before her wedding night. She warns Swara not to complain to her brother or Dada if anything happens. Trusting her, Swara begins the jaap sincerely.

Meanwhile, Koel manipulates Vedant, telling him she is proud of his values and asking him to go to his room. Vedant enters, believing his bride is waiting for him. He sees a woman with her face covered under a veil, assuming it is Swara. Tenderly, he slips a ring onto her finger and speaks softly, telling “Swara” that he married her to fulfil his father’s word, but promises to take his time to truly fulfil his duties as a husband. He assures her he will never give her a reason to complain.

At that moment, the veiled woman lifts her cover—it is Dhwani, not Swara. Vedant is left shocked.
