Suhaagan 23rd August 2024 Written Episode begins with Swara crying in the temple, telling Ambe Maa that Vedant does not trust her at all and blindly worships his stepmother Koel. She says he has broken their relationship for the sake of a fake bond, leaving her feeling defeated. Prabha arrives and reminds Swara that she herself had urged her to fight and not give up. Swara replies that Vedant broke their relationship so easily, proving she does not matter to him. Prabha explains that Koel has trapped Vedant, making him believe she is divine. She then takes Swara back home and points out Vedant punching a bag in anger and pain. Vedant mutters to himself that whenever he trusts Swara, she breaks it. Swara watches him cry, and she too breaks down in tears.
The next day, Koel asks Vedant if he is fine. He says he will be fine now that Swara is gone. Just then, Swara enters the house, surprising everyone. Vedant angrily asks what she is doing there after being thrown out. Swara calmly replies that she wants to enjoy her tea. She challenges Vedant to explain on what grounds he threw her out. Koel accuses Swara of giving her heart attack medicine. Swara retorts that Koel did not have a heart attack, so how can the claim be true. Vedant tries to drop Swara home, but she reminds him that a wife cannot be thrown out so easily and that the house belongs to Naina bhabhi, not Koel. Vrinda adds that if Swara is thrown out, Naina might be thrown out next. Vedant reluctantly decides not to throw Swara out but warns her this is her last chance. Swara then suggests preparing for Raksha Bandhan, saying it will be her and Naina’s first festival together. Manju reveals that they do not celebrate Raksha Bandhan. Curious, Swara asks why. Koel hints that Prabha committed an injustice in the past, which is why the festival is no longer celebrated.
Later, Prabha remembers Vedant and her daughter Roshni. Swara questions her about what Koel meant, but Prabha avoids answering. Vedant sits alone in the toy room, crying for his sister. Prabha finds him and calls him beta, but Vedant angrily reminds her that because of her, his sister Roshni was separated from him. He refuses to forgive her and shuts the door. Prabha cries outside while Swara overhears, shocked to learn that Vedant once had a sister.
That night, Koel secretly moves a cupboard to reveal a hidden door. She enters and goes inside a dark room where a girl, Roshni, is shown imprisoned. Vedant looks at a pendant with his sister’s photo and cries, saying her name with deep pain. Koel smirks as she pushes food toward the frightened Roshni. Roshni, in poor condition, clutches her pendant, which matches Vedant’s. Koel vows to keep her locked away so that the family secret never comes out, even if it means Roshni dies in captivity. Vedant, meanwhile, looks at the pendant and their photos and cries helplessly.
