Suhaagan 24th August 2024 Written Episode begins with Swara taking Prabha to Dadi’s room and offering her water. Swara says she overheard her conversation with Vedant and cannot believe he had a sister. Prabha confirms that Vedant’s sister was her beloved daughter, Roshni. She recalls how years ago she was accused of a shameful act and thrown out of the house. She explains that Koel had falsely accused her of meeting a lover under the pretext of taking Roshni to the doctor.
A flashback shows Prabha driving with Roshni when her car broke down. As Prabha searched for a mechanic, another car rammed into hers, separating her from Roshni. Prabha says that from that day she lost her daughter and was estranged from her husband and son. Swara sympathises with her pain. Prabha adds that Vedant could never forgive her, and that his wound remains raw every Raksha Bandhan.
Dadi overhears and tries to speak. Struggling, she says “red.” Manju realises Dadi is trying to reveal something. Meanwhile, Koel is shown visiting Roshni, who is locked away in a secret red room. Koel taunts her, recalling how she staged the accident and framed Prabha, and later pushed Dadi down the stairs to silence her. She tells Roshni she is her “lottery ticket” and will remain hidden forever. She forces Roshni to eat and warns her not to dream of freedom.
Back in the haveli, Dadi continues saying “red room,” giving Swara hope that the truth can be uncovered. Swara vows to help Prabha get her rights. Later, while Swara goes to fetch flour from the storeroom, Roshni seizes an opportunity. Koel frees her hands to make her eat, but Roshni chains Koel’s legs and escapes. Running through the hall, she collides with Swara, dropping her chain pendant. Swara asks who she is, and Roshni mutters “Vedu, bhai, rakhi.” Swara gently comforts her and takes her to the sofa, promising to help.
Just then Koel frees herself, captures Roshni, and drags her back to the hidden room. She beats her, warns her to keep the secret hidden, and chains her again. Swara returns with water but finds the girl missing. Koel threatens Roshni that next time she will break her legs if she tries to escape.
Meanwhile, Rudra looks at Roshni’s photo and breaks down, calling her his daughter. Prabha approaches to console him, but he angrily refuses her water, accusing her of having blood on her hands. He throws her out. Prabha cries outside while Rudra sobs inside. Vedant also gazes at Roshni’s picture, lost in grief. Prabha later tells Vedant that his father is unwell. Vedant rushes to Rudra, who laments that he was a bad father who failed Roshni. Vedant consoles him, saying he has always stood by him and that though one part of his heart is missing, another part is with him. He promises Rudra he will never leave him. Father and son hug, and Rudra praises Vedant for his maturity.
