Suhaagan 26th June 2024 Written Update begins with Koel expressing concern to her sister-in-law about the new girl Rudra chose for Vedant. She warns that if the girl is clever, she could disrupt their control over the household. The sister-in-law agrees they should reject her if needed. But Rudra’s sister reminds them that only Rudra’s decision matters. Koel taunts her, referring to Rudra marrying her despite family opposition, and storms off.
Later, when Koel and her family arrive at Baldev’s house, they spot Dhwani standing outside and assume she’s the chosen girl. To test her, Koel drops her sandal and asks Dhwani to pick it up. To her surprise, Dhwani kicks the sandal back and cheekily says she’ll buy a new pair instead. When Koel challenges her further, Dhwani places the sandal on her own head and sarcastically adds that if she were selected, she’d serve her. She then reveals that Rudra has chosen someone else, but before she can say it’s Swara, Baldev and Amma call them inside.
Inside the house, Koel learns from Indu and Baldev that Dhwani is Sudha’s daughter and not the prospective bride—Swara is. They also inform her that Dhwani is Swara’s voice since Swara cannot speak. Koel is stunned but doesn’t comment immediately.
When Swara arrives, Koel decides to test her too. She pretends her feet are burning from walking barefoot due to her broken sandal. Swara quickly brings a bowl with flower petals and places Koel’s feet in it, impressing everyone. Koel appreciates the gesture, and Dhwani translates Swara’s sign language, stating her feet will be fine in two hours.
Koel finally realizes that Swara is mute, and Dhwani tries to sabotage the alliance by suggesting Swara perform a dance. Swara dances gracefully while Dhwani sings. Koel’s sister-in-law records the video and recommends breaking the alliance due to Swara’s disability.
But just as Dhwani believes she succeeded, Koel shocks everyone by hugging Swara and praising her beauty, grace, and good values. She happily accepts Swara as her future daughter-in-law, leaving Dhwani devastated.
