The Episode begins as the Reporter shares that the hospital is being adorned for Teerth Mittal’s wedding to a Sarafa girl. Hema reminds Sumi not to feel like she is losing her daughter and encourages her to thrive in her new home. Malini urges Teerth to bring joy into her new household. Hema requests that Teerth always keep Suman happy and free from tears, to which Teerth nods.
Suman and Teerth glance at Rishi, tears welling up in their eyes. Malini assures them that Rishi will recover soon. Hema then urges Malini not to leave during the bidaai ceremony and encourages her to go home. Suman promises to visit Rishi tomorrow. Teerth also pleads with Rishi to get better quickly. In response, Rishi vows to get better for both of them and reminds Teerth to take good care of Sumi, who is his entire world. Bhumi regrets not speaking up to Sumi but wonders who she can confide in now.
As Rishi watches Suman and Teerth depart, he sees Suman perform the traditional bidaai rasam by tossing rice grains behind her. The sound of the Dilbaru song fills the air. Bhumi embraces Suman with tears in her eyes. Meanwhile, the reporters capture every moment of the bidaai ritual. As everyone follows Suman and Teerth out, Gulshan speaks his thoughts aloud- he had hoped that Devika would convince Suman not to marry Neta, but it seems he was unsuccessful. Shortly after, Poorna calls him, questioning how a union between Suman and Neta could have occurred. Gulshan explains that it was Rishi’s burned condition that prompted Teerth to step in as a groom. In response, Poorna declares she will join them at the venue.
As soon as Akhil arrives home, he announces that Teerth will bring the girl over. Shortly after, Teerth shows up with Suman by his side. Devika’s expression turns sour while Gitanjali casually mentions “laddoo.” Meanwhile, Kritika sobs and Gajendra fumes. All eyes are drawn to the trio. In particular, Kritika notices Suman’s mangalsutra and sindoor and sees Teerth holding her hand. At this point, Devika approaches them with determination in her stride.
Gitanjali reaches out to Devika, who confidently declares that today, she will not be deterred and will act according to her wishes. She pleads with Papa ji, while Chandrakant reassures her there is no need for anyone to intervene. He reminds her that neither she nor Kritika has done anything wrong and assures her that she has every right to punish those at fault. With remorse, Devika apologizes to Chandrakant for speaking indiscreetly and admits to making a grave mistake. She humbly asks him to hold her accountable for her actions.
Devika summons Servant Narsingh, who arrives with the aarti plate, causing Chandrakant and the others to be stunned. She proclaims herself as the senior bahu of this household and Teerth’s sister-in-law. Despite him neglecting his duties, she remains committed to fulfilling her duties and will warmly receive the new bahu. Gajendra inquires about her statement, while Chandrakant reveals that this girl has replaced their sister.
According to Devika, this girl has taken the spot that Teerth had intended to give her. Devika realized she was too blinded by anger to remember that her sister’s happiness does not depend on Teerth. She believes Teerth’s true happiness lies with this girl, and she must welcome her as her Dewrani (sister-in-law). Chandrakant questions if the girl is indeed the Dewrani and expresses his disapproval due to their lack of knowledge about her family. However, Devika smiles and thinks about how he made Kattu cry, and now she will take matters into her own hands.
According to Gajendra, relationships are constantly formed and ended. As for Devika, she must greet the newcomer. Gajendra wonders what the Mittal family did to make his daughters, Kritika and Devika, unwilling to leave their home. To persuade her father, Devika performs aarti and tilak on the new arrival, Teerth.
