The episode begins with Devika informing Suman that she is now a wealthy family member and should not sit on the ground but on the bed instead. She helps Suman onto the bed and instructs her to keep her feet up, explaining that the bride must wait for her groom while creating a romantic atmosphere. When Suman asks about Neta ji, Devika reveals that Teerth is spending time with his childhood sweetheart, Kritika, and has locked himself in his room. She expresses disappointment at Teerth’s actions and remarks that while some get married, others celebrate their wedding night differently.
Suman believes Neta ji would not take such action. Despite Bhumi’s attempt to reach out, Suman misses the call. Rishi plans to discuss this with Teerth and inform him. He beckons Bhoomi to join him. Feeling sorry for Suman, Teerth considers going to his room. Gitanjali declares that she will sleep in the guest room tonight. Meanwhile, Devika informs Kritika about her convincing Gitanjali that Teerth’s life would be jeopardised if they shared a room.
Gitanjali escorts Teerth to the guest room and inquires about his actions. He explains that Kritika was seated on the mandap and reveals everything that happened. Gitanjali acknowledges the hurt felt by Rishi and Suman but reminds Teerth of their father’s intense dislike towards Kritika. She also mentions how she has caused numerous fights within the household due to her perceived rotten luck. Teerth then decides to check on Suman, who is alone at home.
Gitanjali firmly declares that today is not Kaalratri, and she will not allow them to leave. Defiantly, she proclaims that she will not heed their words. In response, he agrees and decides to charge his phone. However, Gitanjali takes matters into her own hands and offers to charge his phone for him. Kritika turns to Devika with concern and asks if Rishi will recover. With assurance, Devika responds that he will return to normal in a few days, reminding Kritika that Teerth did not marry her because of Rishi’s condition.
Rishi requests Bhumi to contact Neta ji, and the nurse then instructs them to step outside. They all comply, and later that night, Gulshan appears at Rishi’s ward window, prompting Rishi to exclaim his name.
Teerth calls Gitanjali, requesting her to open the door before stating that he needs to see Suman ji. Meanwhile, Gitanjali plugs in the phone and reminds him not to knock on the door.
Suman recalls Devika’s warning that Teerth could never see her as his wife due to his love for Kritika. Despite this, she reminds herself to trust Teerth as Rishi had wanted. She faces challenges to safeguard their marriage and prays for Rishi’s well-being.
Gulshan issues a warning to Rishi, requesting him to harm him physically. Curious, Rishi asks for an explanation as to why Gulshan is present. Gulshan reveals his true intentions, claiming responsibility for swapping out the kerosene oil box. In response, Rishi vows not to let Gulshan escape punishment and insists that Suman and Neta ji will ensure he ends up in jail. Gulshan declares his determination to claim Suman as his own, regardless of the consequences.
Rishi reaches for his neck, but Gulshan steps away. Assuring him that Suman is safe with Neta ji by her side, he reveals his arrangement with Devika Mittal. Gulshan then phones Devika and congratulates her on becoming Suman’s sister-in-law, inquiring about when she will treat him to laddoos.
Devika has made some disturbing threats, claiming she will harm him and throw her out within the next two days. She abruptly ends the call, leaving Rishi in shock. He desperately attempts to reach out to Doctor, Neta ji and Suman for help, but Gulshan grabs hold of his neck and begins to strangle him. Suman grows increasingly anxious as she watches this unfold. Despite her pleas, Gulshan continues to harm Rishi. In a desperate attempt to reach him, Suman asks the Servant to unlock the door, only to be reminded that Bade Saab locks it whenever Akhil and Poorvi are not present. Frantically calling for Teerth’s assistance, Suman expresses concern for Rishi’s well-being.
