The episode begins with Gitanjali asking Suman to light the diya in the temple, reminding her that only a bahu lights the morning diya. Suman refuses, saying she didn’t return as a bahu and will not lie to herself or to God. Gitanjali urges her not to let anger turn her into Devika, who always tried to break the family. She reminds Suman that she once united the family and earned respect. Suman replies that while she has no hatred, she still carries anger and pain. She adds that though she won’t dishonor God or her elders, Gitanjali should not expect her to act as a bahu anymore. She lights the diya, touches Gitanjali’s feet, and leaves her upset.

Meanwhile, Gulshan locks the house to leave. Poorna questions him, but he insists they should go to his Bua’s house. When Devika suddenly arrives and asks who bailed him out, Gulshan recalls Suman’s warning not to reveal her name. He lies, saying a “special friend” arranged his bail. Devika grows suspicious.

On the other hand, Teerth receives a call from the CM, who praises him for standing with Suman and assures him of his election ticket. He even advises Teerth to start his campaign and get photos clicked with her. Though Teerth outwardly agrees, he privately fumes, blaming Suman for his troubles. Suman overhears and taunts him, reminding him that his ticket exists only because of her presence.

Elsewhere, Devika continues pressing Gulshan for answers, but he angrily blames her for his downfall and leaves. Bhumi secretly watches everything and grows more curious about the link between Suman and Gulshan. Devika, meanwhile, wonders if Suman’s strength is connected to Gulshan and vows to uncover the truth.

Later, Akhil collides with Suman while drunk. She helps him to his room and questions his hatred towards Teerth. In his drunken state, Akhil confesses that Teerth always treated Rishi as his real younger brother, and in anger, blurts that he will kill him. Shocked, Suman wonders if Akhil was behind Rishi’s death. While searching his cupboard, she finds hidden bottles of liquor and a slip with Rishi’s account number.

Just then, Devika arrives, mocking Akhil for being a drunkard and calling him her puppet, useful only as long as he does her dirty work. She even remarks that his death would benefit her. Suman, hiding nearby, hears everything and is disgusted by Devika’s selfishness. She begins to suspect a deeper link between Akhil and Devika’s schemes.

Bhumi then calls Suman and informs her that Gulshan has fled to Ujjain. She overheard Devika, Poorna, and Gulshan talking, but Gulshan refused to reveal anything further before switching off his phone. As Suman processes this, Teerth calls her, leaving her frustrated at his persistence.
