Gulshan questions Bhumi about celebrating Diwali, to which she responds that she will ask Teerth for money. He inquires about Sumi’s whereabouts, and Bhumi reveals she has gone to her in-laws’ house. Gulshan immediately calls Devika, informing her that he has some news. Devika, surprised, says that she is standing right in front of her. Gitanjali remarks that since Devika is here, Suman will surely come too. Reeva gets excited, seeing her Chachi.
Chandrakant sternly warns Suman not to enter. Teerth pleads with Chandrakant to let go of the past, but Chandrakant furiously grabs Teerth’s collar and insists that if he wishes, he can leave along with this girl. Teerth questions why he is behaving this way, stating that if he throws out Lakshmi today, it will be a grave mistake.
