Suman, with no evidence to defend herself, finds herself cornered. The police, influenced by Devika’s manipulative tactics, prepare to arrest her. Just when everything seems lost, Teerth arrives, giving Suman a brief moment of hope. She runs to him for comfort, only to be devastated when he confesses that he was the one who killed Rishi.

Teerth explains that his desire for political power and the need for a decisive turning point in his life pushed him to commit the crime. Shattered by the betrayal, Suman slaps Teerth and vows to return to the Mittal house to take her revenge. Devika, confident in her strength and influence, mocks Suman by claiming that all the evidence against her has already been destroyed. She flaunts her political connections, declaring that Suman stands no chance of fighting back.

Despite Suman’s pleas, the police move ahead with her arrest. Hema, desperate to save her daughter, humiliates herself by begging Devika for mercy and even touching her feet. Suman, however, stops her family, urging them to protect their dignity rather than compromise it for her sake.

Unmoved by Hema’s desperation, Devika orders the police to take Suman away. But once Suman is gone, Teerth confronts Devika, reminding her of their deal that Suman would not be sent to jail. He threatens to expose Devika if she goes back on her word. Realising the risks, Devika calls off Suman’s arrest but demands that Suman and her family leave the city immediately.

Although saved from imprisonment, Suman feels broken after Teerth’s betrayal. She promises to return stronger and fight back against the Mittal family. Back at home, Teerth, burning with anger, lashes out at his family, blaming them for manipulating him into standing against Suman. He declares that his respect and love for his wife are gone and emotionally distances himself from his family, leaving the household in turmoil.
