The episode begins with Suman confronting Devika, stating that only those who value respect feel insulted. Devika, enraged, questions her audacity. Suman recalls Papa Ji’s words, declaring that while Devika may deceive others, she cannot fool her. She is certain that Kritika is lying. Devika warns Suman to watch her words or risk consequences. She insists that since Suman accused Kritika of lying, she will now be deprived of the keys, just like Teerth. She locks the door, leaving Suman with no choice but to sleep on the floor or in the kitchen.
Suman, however, refuses to accept unjust punishment and boldly takes the keys, unlocking the door. She declares that while Devika may be the eldest daughter-in-law, she too holds a rightful place in the family. As Suman throws the keys towards Devika, she firmly states that she will not be intimidated. Devika, fuming, vows that Suman will face dire consequences the next day. Aware of the deception both sisters are playing on Neta Ji and the family, Suman resolves to expose them. She prays for divine intervention to protect Neta Ji from Kritika’s schemes. Meanwhile, Teerth, sitting on Kritika’s bed, worries about Suman’s well-being.
Elsewhere, Bhumi hands over some receipts to Gulshan, urging him to stop harassing them. Gulshan reassures her, saying he will retrieve the money from Neta Ji.
Later, Devika invites Hema and her family to Suman’s Karwa Chauth celebration. However, Kritika is confused about Devika’s intentions. Devika, smirking, reveals that they won’t be able to attend, which will ultimately bring shame to Suman’s in-laws. She then conspires with Gulshan, instructing him to prevent Suman’s family from arriving. In return, she promises that Suman will soon be sent back to Sarafa. Gulshan readily agrees.
Meanwhile, Hema and Malini select sarees, intending to gift them to Suman and Bhumi. However, realizing their financial constraints, they decide to distribute small amounts as a token.
During the Karwa Chauth ceremony, Gitanjali narrates Leelavati’s story to Devika and Suman. As the rituals proceed, Suman starts feeling weak. Teerth, observing her condition, grows concerned. Amidst the gathering, Baby Bua comments that both Suman and Kritika are fasting for Teerth, implying an impending drama. Chandrakant advises Teerth to be mindful of his reputation, as earning respect takes a lifetime but losing it takes just a moment. Teerth, however, is troubled by Suman’s humiliation.
As the discussion heats up, Baby Bua provocatively asks whose fast Teerth will break. Kritika, enraged, demands to know who dared to fast for “her Teerth” and tries to choke Baby Bua in a fit of rage. Suman quickly intervenes, pulling Kritika away. Devika scolds Kritika for her overacting and orders her to apologize. Kritika reluctantly complies, and Gitanjali escorts her away. Baby Bua, shaken, acknowledges Suman as Teerth’s rightful wife.
Later, Devika confronts Kritika about her excessive dramatics, only for Kritika to complain about hunger. Devika hands her a laddoo, advising her to endure it since Suman is fasting for Teerth. Overhearing this, Suman asserts that as Teerth’s wife, she has every right to fast for him. She then accuses the sisters of deception, exposing Kritika’s fake madness and fasting act.
Devika mockingly challenges Suman, questioning how she intends to expose the truth when no one will believe her. She taunts Suman, implying that Teerth and Kritika’s closeness is inevitable due to their youth and beauty. Furious, Suman retaliates, shaming Devika for allowing her unmarried sister to stay in a man’s room and for making inappropriate remarks. She accuses Devika of not only speaking such things but also instilling such behavior in Kritika.
Enraged, Devika raises her hand to slap Suman, but Suman firmly catches it, standing her ground.
