At first, Suman shows no interest in the duel, but Teerth convinces himself that if she touches him, she may develop feelings for him. Suman glares at him and finally accepts the challenge, boldly comparing herself to Goddess Durga who destroyed Mahishasur. Devika is stunned by her confidence and questions Teerth about why he agreed to the fight. He dismisses her concerns, saying he is determined to defeat Suman no matter what.

Meanwhile, at the Mittal house, Rishi is pampered with food by Gitanjali and Reva, who secretly want to learn the truth about his father. Irritated by their constant questioning, Rishi remains silent. Just then, Hema storms into the house, furious that Rishi was manipulated into coming there. She scolds everyone for trying to take him away and berates Rishi for disobeying Suman’s rules.
