The episode begins with Suman checking on Teerth and asking if he is in pain. He assures her that he is fine, though he feels a slight ache. Meanwhile, Devika rebukes Gulshan for his failed plan, which ultimately led to uniting Suman and Teerth instead. Gulshan, however, insists that his strategy was solid but foiled by Suman’s timely intervention. Devika warns that if Suman reveals the truth to Teerth, Kritika will lose her chance to enter the family. Gulshan then hands over a crucial video to Devika, which he believes will serve her plan.
Upon watching the video, Devika is infuriated and immediately calls Gitanjali and Chandrakant, showing them footage of the Sarafa people assaulting Teerth. Gitanjali demands to know the source of the video, and Devika claims it was sent by someone she knows. Chandrakant, alarmed by Teerth’s situation, insists they must bring him back. Gitanjali agrees, and Chandrakant asks Devika to accompany him to the shop. However, Devika feigns concern for her mother-in-law and sends Guru in her place. As she plots further, she instructs Akhil to get the car ready while smirking to herself.
Meanwhile, Suman tends to Teerth’s wounds, carefully dressing them. She scolds him for coming there despite the dangers. Teerth, however, challenges her intentions, questioning if she truly wants to sever ties with his family. Malini, deeply concerned, demands to know who attacked Teerth and vows to seek revenge. Hema, feeling guilty, apologizes to Teerth.
In response, Teerth urges Hema to apologize to the Sarafa people instead, as she had reprimanded them earlier. He expresses his happiness over how much they care for her. He also adds that if he ever truly had a conflict with Suman, he would be doomed.
Just then, Gitanjali, along with Akhil and Devika, arrives at the scene. Gitanjali rushes to Teerth in worry, but he reassures her of his well-being. Seizing the opportunity, Devika accuses Suman of causing Teerth’s injuries and questions her audacity. However, Suman firmly silences her, declaring that this is her home and discussions must be conducted with respect. She then exposes a shocking revelation—that someone had misled Gulshan into believing she was humiliated and thrown out of the house. She clarifies that she never shared such information with anyone and demands to know who did.
Devika, taken aback, attempts to defend herself, asking why she would do such a thing. However, Suman confronts her, asserting that everyone is well aware of the extent Devika would go to in order to create obstacles in her life. Akhil, siding with Devika, mocks Suman, calling her a mere tea seller, and orders her to speak respectfully.
Teerth immediately steps in, rebuking Akhil and reminding him that Suman is his sister-in-law and deserves respect. Gitanjali, now frustrated, asks Teerth why he is defending Suman. Teerth firmly states that Suman saved him and deserves his gratitude.
Teerth then turns to Suman, apologizing and asking why she left the house. He wonders if he unknowingly hurt her. Devika, anxious that Suman might reveal the truth, looks on nervously. Suman calmly explains that their marriage happened only because of Rishi, and she is freeing Teerth from this bond. She does not want to see him unhappy.
However, Teerth firmly refuses, declaring that no matter the circumstances, she is his legally wedded wife and therefore his responsibility. He insists that he cannot abandon her. Suman, in turn, urges him not to be stubborn.
Teerth then asks Gitanjali to return home, stating that he will not leave without Suman. Gitanjali protests, reminding him that Diwali preparations are pending. Devika also tries to manipulate the situation, claiming that Suman should return home at her own will. She pleads with Teerth to come back, expressing her distress over being left alone.
Teerth reassures her that she is always in his heart, but he must stand by his responsibilities. Devika, now panicked, wonders what will happen if Teerth reconciles with Suman and learns the truth.
Determined, Teerth tells Suman that if she refuses to return home, he will celebrate Diwali right there with her. Suman remains adamant in her decision. However, Teerth confidently states that she will come home—sooner or later.
