The episode begins with Teerth decorating for Diwali, admiring his work and stating that it is as perfect as he is. He loses his balance while looking at Suman and falls from the table, but she catches him just in time. He expresses his gratitude, saying she always saves him from harm but wonders how she will protect him from heartbreak. Teerth then invites Suman to return home with him.
Later, he serves food to Hema, Malini, and Bhumi, proudly declaring himself the son of the Namkeen King. He subtly invites Suman to taste his dish, as she finds the aroma tempting. However, he remarks that it is a tradition for the daughter-in-law or son-in-law to cook the first meal and receive a gift. Suman tells him he will only get a gift if the food is delicious. Teerth reveals that he has made tasty Gujiya and admits that the gift he truly desires is for her to come home with him.
Meanwhile, Devika manipulates Gitanjali, claiming that Suman has ensnared Teerth. She urges her to call Teerth. While making a rangoli, Teerth overhears Malini remark that some people are too stone-hearted to appreciate his efforts. Suman, talking to Rishi’s photograph, confesses that she cannot go back with Teerth since he loves someone else. She receives a call from Gitanjali, who bitterly asks how it feels to lose a son and demands that Suman send Teerth back. Devika reassures Gitanjali that Suman will eventually do so. As Kritika approaches, Devika smugly claims that her plan is foolproof and Teerth will inevitably return.
Teerth later surprises Suman, startling her. She confronts him about his actions, believing he loves Kritika. He denies it and asks who gave her this idea. Suman recalls overhearing him confessing his love to Kritika and pledging to fulfill his duty towards her. She insists that she cannot take someone else’s happiness for the sake of her own home. She reminds him that she initially hesitated to marry him, but he had reassured her of his feelings. She tells him not to feel guilty about her, as she refuses to stand between him and Kritika.
Teerth silences her by placing a hand over her mouth and explains that he only lied to Kritika to prevent her from electrocuting herself. He reveals that Kritika has lost her mental stability, and if he tells her the truth, there’s no predicting how she might react. He reassures Suman that he does not love Kritika and that if he did, he wouldn’t be here. He reminds Suman of her promise to trust him and asks if her faith in him has broken. He urges her to admit her mistake and apologize. Suman hesitates before finally saying sorry. Teerth playfully suggests she hold her ears while apologizing, and they both end up holding each other’s ears. He insists that misunderstandings should always be cleared before sleeping, and Suman promises to abide by this.
She questions why he never called her, to which he replies that when he knocked on her door, no one answered, so he assumed she was asleep. He later discovered that she had left. Realizing Kritika’s deception, Suman tells Teerth that Kritika is pretending to be mentally unstable. Teerth acknowledges that he is not very smart, but Suman insists that exposing Kritika requires evidence. He then tells Suman that he needs her, Suman Indori, to gather proof against Kritika and urges her to return home with him. Suman takes his hand and agrees. Overjoyed, Teerth hugs her.
Later, Suman speaks to Rishi’s photograph, declaring that she is not just going back to expose Kritika but also to honor their marriage with honesty. She thanks Rishi for bringing a true partner into her life. Meanwhile, Teerth interacts with Hema and Malini.
At home, Chandrakant taunts Gitanjali, telling her to cry elsewhere if she must. Gitanjali remains hopeful, believing her son will return. As Teerth and Suman arrive home, they overhear Chandrakant accusing Suman of stealing his son. Kritika, in despair, tells Devika that she will leave if Teerth does not return. Teerth, noticing his father’s anger, remarks that he is in full scolding mode. Suman suggests they find a way to calm him down. Teerth places an alta plate on the floor, lifts Suman, and sets her down in the colored water, calling it part of his strategy.
As the doorbell rings, Gitanjali opens the door and embraces Teerth, calling him her laddoo. Devika is relieved to see him but soon realizes something is amiss when she checks outside.
