The episode begins with Teerth playfully telling Suman that night work should be done at night. As he falls onto the bed, Suman gets up and teases him, calling him Neta Ji. She suggests they wait, but Teerth, feeling sleepy, asks if she doesn’t want to rest. Suman reminds him of his earlier statement about taking the next step in their relationship. Teerth clarifies that he only said that to send someone away. He proposes that they live as roommates, like flatmates, sharing the space as friends. He playfully asks if she is ready for this arrangement. Suman agrees, calling him “Roomie Ji.” Teerth teaches her their special handshake, but she warns that his Bhabhi wouldn’t approve. He laughs, saying that was exactly why he said it.
Meanwhile, Devika observes Teerth and Suman’s growing bond and tells Kritika that she knows how to clip their wings. Just then, Teerth receives an urgent call from a party worker, informing him that the Chief Minister has summoned him immediately. He informs Gitanjali that he is heading to the party office to oversee the Diwali gift distribution. Seeing an opportunity, Devika instructs Kritika to attack Suman, pretending to be mentally unstable. Kritika, who holds a black belt in karate, enthusiastically agrees. Devika tells her to injure Suman, ensuring she is unable to perform the Lakshmi Puja. Kritika grabs a knife, but Devika hands her a tennis racket instead, cautioning her to avoid suspicion.
At the same time, Bhumi calls Teerth, asking to meet him alone the next day. When Teerth suggests bringing Suman along, Bhumi insists that he must come alone and keep it a secret from his family. Teerth becomes concerned, but Bhumi reassures him that everything is fine before ending the call. Gulshan, standing beside Bhumi, smirks and urges her to demand money from Teerth, using it to cover up her crime.
Later, Kritika sneaks into Suman’s room and locks the door. Suman, unshaken, tells Kritika that she knows she isn’t truly insane. Kritika, furious, calls Suman and her family mad before bragging about her black belt in karate. She lunges at Suman, but Suman skillfully blocks her, joking that while Kritika knows karate, she knows how to make parathas. She threatens to turn Kritika into chutney. Kritika rants about Teerth belonging to her, believing that she is his rightful wife. Suman reminds her that Teerth left her at the mandap. Kritika still clings to the belief that she is his wife.
Suman taunts Kritika, pointing out that her antics have backfired, leaving her no chance of marrying Teerth. She asserts that since she is mentally stable, the family will choose her over Kritika. Kritika insists that her act of insanity will eventually earn her Teerth’s sympathy. However, Suman calls out her past attempts at self-harm, proving she isn’t mentally unstable but manipulative. She grabs her phone, ready to expose Kritika’s truth to everyone.
Panicked, Kritika tries to snatch the phone but trips. Enraged, she picks up Rishi’s photograph, cruelly insulting him and smashing the frame. This infuriates Suman, who turns up the music volume. The loud noise disturbs the household, prompting Gitanjali, Poorvi, and Akhil to question what’s happening. Kritika accuses Suman of being insane for playing loud music at night. Devika assumes that Kritika is cleverly using music to cover up Suman’s cries.
In reality, Suman retaliates fiercely, repeatedly slapping Kritika for disrespecting Rishi’s memory. Kritika calls for Devika’s help. Meanwhile, Devika smugly waits for Namkeen King to arrive, expecting chaos. However, she soon hears Kritika’s desperate pleas and rushes to check. Peering through the window, she sees Suman mercilessly beating Kritika. Kritika, still being hit, begs Devika for help.
Devika knocks frantically on the door. Kritika, in distress, shouts, “This kachra aunty will kill me!” Suman slaps her again, demanding she address her properly as Mrs. Suman Teerth Mittal. Kritika immediately complies. Suman then opens the door. Furious, Devika storms in, vowing to get Suman thrown out by complaining to Papa Ji.
Just then, Teerth arrives, declaring that if anyone will be blamed, it will be Kritika, not Suman. Suman triumphantly shows Teerth the recording of Kritika’s confessions and violent attempts. Watching the footage, Teerth firmly announces that he will put an end to this drama once and for all.
