The judge, clearly frustrated by the behaviour of both parents, reprimands them for their immaturity and warns that their actions could severely affect Rishi’s emotional health.

Suman argues that Rishi would never be safe in the Mittal household. Teerth’s lawyer tries to undermine her standing as a guardian by presenting abortion papers, claiming that she never wanted the child in the first place and has been using him for her political ambitions. Suman is repeatedly asked whether she attempted to abort Rishi during pregnancy. She admits it, but the judge states firmly that the decision rests solely with the woman and scolds Teerth’s lawyer for his insensitive tone.

Suman explains the circumstances that pushed her towards that decision and shifts the discussion to the recent mobile explosion incident. She reveals that Teerth was the last one to enter Rishi’s room before the blast and even submits CCTV footage. Still, she says she does not believe Teerth could intentionally harm Rishi.
