But Devika, terrified of the political consequences, takes drastic action. If Teerth admits everything in front of the media, her political career will collapse. Just as Teerth begins to speak, Devika kidnaps him and prevents the confession.

She takes him to meet the chief minister, who reprimands Teerth for getting entangled with Suman despite knowing the risks. Devika confronts him, asking why he continues to support Suman.
