The episode begins with Chandrakant pointing out that 2.5 lakh rupees have gone missing from right in front of this woman, yet she remains unaware of its whereabouts. Devika responds, stating that she has targeted Teerth, Suman, and Mummy ji all at once. Chandrakant questions her, pointing out that first, a 20 lakh rupee order was canceled, and now a significant sum has been stolen from the locker. He demands to know if she had given the key to anyone.

Devika asks him to calm down and assures him that she will first call the customer to settle the 20 lakh order before addressing the missing 2.5 lakh rupees. She contacts Munna and inquires about the order, but he abruptly ends the call. Devika realizes that Munna is Teerth’s party worker. Chandrakant demands to know Teerth’s whereabouts, to which Devika responds that he went to attend a friend’s sangeet, adding that she regrets taking him out on a festival day. Just then, Suman and Teerth return home.

Noticing the tense atmosphere, Suman asks why everyone appears upset. Teerth, confused, asks Gitanjali about the situation. At that moment, Munna calls Teerth, who answers the call. Before he can react, Chandrakant slaps Teerth and accuses him of fabricating a 20 lakh rupee order to prove himself as the family’s Lakshmi. He further insinuates that Suman is behind this.

Gitanjali intervenes, pleading with Chandrakant not to strike their son on a festival day. Chandrakant warns her to be grateful that he hasn’t raised his hand against her. As he prepares to slap Gitanjali, Suman steps in and firmly holds his hand. Devika warns that a major confrontation is about to unfold.

Akhil angrily questions Suman’s audacity in stopping their father. Suman boldly clarifies that she did not disrespect her father-in-law or an elderly figure; rather, she stopped a man from raising his hand against a woman. She reprimands Akhil, stating that he should have stopped his father’s violent behavior instead of blindly defending him. She acknowledges that Chandrakant has the right to discipline his son but insists that he has no right to abuse Mummy ji. She calls out the family for silently witnessing the injustice.

Devika reminds Suman that Chandrakant is her father-in-law. Suman acknowledges this and explains that it is her duty to prevent him from committing a wrongful act, as he would have become a sinner. She questions why the family remained silent the first time he raised his hand against Gitanjali. Chandrakant accuses Suman of turning his children against him, but she clarifies that she only prevented him from making a grave mistake.

She urges Chandrakant to reflect on his actions, reminding him that while he worships Goddess Lakshmi, he simultaneously disrespects his wife. She asks if he truly believes that Goddess Lakshmi would forgive such hypocrisy. She further questions whether he understands the essence of Lakshmi Mata’s presence and whether his actions would be considered an insult to the divine.

Chandrakant, overwhelmed, laments that he has lost a 20 lakh rupee contract and now faces a theft of 2.5 lakh rupees. Suman declares that Neta ji took the money for her. Gitanjali offers ladoos, and Devika claims that everything is part of a well-executed plan.

Teerth then steps forward, stating that he was about to return the money. He hands it over to Chandrakant, who angrily lifts his sandal. Suman intervenes, defending Teerth’s actions, explaining that his intention was pure and that he did it for the family. Chandrakant, however, blames her. Teerth clarifies that Suman ultimately stopped him at the last moment. Devika taunts Teerth, claiming that Chandrakant never withdraws money at such times, yet he dared to take it.

Chandrakant then declares that Suman’s family is relying on him for financial support. He assigns Devika the responsibility of securing the family’s money and demands the keys from Gitanjali. Taking the keys, he announces that Devika will now be responsible for them. Devika feigns reluctance, saying that the keys belong to Mummy ji, but Chandrakant insists she take them. Gitanjali then leads Teerth away from the confrontation.

Suman firmly states that her family is not helpless and that she is their pillar of strength. Devika mocks her, claiming that a part of her strength died today. She taunts Suman, boasting that Lakshmi has come to her instead and that she will now treat Suman as a mere recipient of charity. With a smirk, she wishes Suman a ‘Happy Choti Diwali.’

As Suman reflects on Chandrakant and Gulshan’s words, Teerth approaches her, mentioning that Gitanjali is particularly upset today. He reassures Suman that the ‘Namkeen King’ will eventually calm down and reveals that he has granted them permission to assist their mother and other family members.

Suman, however, insists that her family does not depend on anyone. While acknowledging Teerth’s good intentions, she points out that taking money without Papaji’s permission is still wrong. She then asks Teerth if he will stand by her decision. Curious, he asks what she plans to do. Upon hearing her plan, Teerth bursts into laughter, joking that it seems like she wants to throw him out of the house. He warns that if ‘Namkeen King’ discovers her intentions, they will be in serious trouble. Despite this, Suman pleads with him to support her.
