To pay Boomi’s school fees, Suman tells her mom she needs an additional 10,000 rupees. During her conversation, Suman spotted her brother, Rishi, sneaking into an opposition party rally. She overhears him making promises and commenting that he’s giving fake assurances and will forget them once he’s in power. While Rishi tells her not to bother him, Suman insists on seeing what he’s holding.
After Rishi declines, Suman takes it from him, surprised to see ink on his hand. She reprimands him for taking such a daring chance, emphasizing that the opposing party would not have shown mercy if he had caused trouble. Despite Rishi’s argument that politicians are cautious with their words, Suman maintains that he is being reckless. As they debate, Rishi’s phone rings, and Suman picks up. It’s Teerth, requesting Rishi to meet him at the party headquarters. Suman decides she wants to personally confront the politician responsible for causing turmoil in their family and causing them strife.
Suman tracks down Teerth at his workplace, mocking him with “brother”. She blames him for manipulating Rishi and endangering his well-being. She questions how he would have reacted if the opposing party had targeted Rishi. While Teerth insists that Rishi holds a special place in his heart, Suman reminds him that she only has one true brother, and he is the one in harm’s way. In defence of Teerth, Rishi defends his actions by stating that he always considers every move carefully before asking Teerth to do anything. He also points out that Teerth even cared for Boomi’s education expenses.
In reply, Suman points out that Teerth made Rishi risk his life for that money, and she won’t accept dirty money. Teerth is warned that if anything happens to her brother, she will not forgive him or let it go. As soon as she leaves, Teerth asks Rishi what exactly happened. Based on Rishi’s explanation, Teerth believes Suman should’ve stayed out of his business.
In his defence of Teerth, Rishi says he’s different from other politicians, but Suman insists that Rishi doesn’t understand the world. Suman scolds Rishi for blindly trusting a politician. According to Rishi, he knows right from wrong and is not a child. Meanwhile, the police arrive at Teerth’s house. Chandrashekhar is told they’re there to arrest someone who caused trouble at the opposition party’s rally.
Chandrashekhar insists he’s too busy with his business and has no political involvement or knowledge of the opposition. However, the police clarify that they are there to arrest his son, Teerth, who has evidence against him. Rithvika, Teerth’s sister, grows anxious and tries to shift blame onto Rishi by claiming he planned to throw ink at the rally. Teerth expresses gratitude towards the police and asks Rithvika how she learned about the plan. Faced with Teerth’s threat of cutting ties, she reveals the truth. Although disappointed, Chandrashekhar warns her not to repeat this mistake.
As Teerth leaves, Suman confronts her brother again, furious that he is still working for him. When Teerth arrives, Suman accidentally spills water on him, ending their confrontation.
