He prays for Simran’s health. Sahiba says she feels good seeing his concern for Simran. Manveer says she’s not stone-hearted like Sahiba thinks. Sahiba asks her to admit her mistake in front of her family and tell them that she only wanted to leave Simran at home, but never intended to harm her. When Angad hears their conversation, Manveer shouts at Sahiba how dare she is accusing her and asks Angad if he heard what his wife said.
In response, Sahiba says he should listen to her once before he makes a final decision. He knows he has differences with his mother, but how dare she accuse her of kidnapping Simran. As Manveer continues to yell at Sahiba, Angad refuses to listen and asks her to leave. Sahiba says she will not until Simran’s reports arrive. Seerat interferes and says they always have issues, so Angad warns her not to interfere between them.
Angad receives a call from the inspector, who informs him that he has obtained the kidnapper’s call records and found multiple calls to and from one of his family members. Curious, Angad inquires about the person’s identity. The inspector promptly sends over the call records, which leave Angad shocked upon seeing Manveer’s number among them. Without hesitation, he heads towards Manveer, disregarding his family members, and requests to speak with her privately. Leading her to a waiting room where Sahiba happens to be sitting, Angad reaches out for Manveer’s attention while Sahiba tries to leave. In an attempt to stop her, Angad holds on to Sahiba’s hand and demands that she stay. He then confronts Manveer about her intentions behind harming a small child. In response, Manveer exclaims if he trusts his wife more than his own mother. With a troubled expression on his face, Angad explains how he received a call from the inspector regarding her involvement in the kidnapping case. To add further evidence, Sahiba interjects by stating that she was able to trace the kidnapper through an alternate number found in Manveer’s mobile phone.
Manveer justifies her actions by claiming she is deeply traumatized after Inder’s betrayal with another woman, who he also accepted his illegitimate daughter with and showered love upon, something he never did for Angad. Manveer recalls how Inder had once chosen her and Angad over his mistress and they were leading a normal life until Sahiba brought Simran into their home and ruined everything. She blames Sahiba for all the troubles they have endured and recounts every incident where Sahiba was the cause. As Angad remains quiet, Sahiba questions him if he too believes she is to blame for all their problems. Angad admits he is torn between supporting his wife or his mother. This leads Manveer to accuse him of favoring his wife and defending her actions. In frustration, she storms off while yelling. As Sahiba questions Angad if he ever stopped to consider how she feels when they all point fingers at her without any fault of hers.

Sahiba has slipped into a coma and it is unclear whether she will regain consciousness. Angad pleads Sahiba to get up, as he wishes to celebrate the anniversary with her and propose to her. His tears fall on Sahiba’s forehead. Sahiba opens her eyes, but then stops breathing.
