As Manveer interviews Gurnoor inside the room, Angad patiently waits outside. He hopes his mother doesn’t ask any inappropriate questions during the interview. Akeer inquires about Gurnoor’s whereabouts to which Angad replies that she is currently being interviewed by his mother in a separate room. Akeer expresses his desire for Gurnoor to stay in their house and warns Angad that he will not entertain any efforts from him or his mother to send her away. Angad adds that his mother has scolded him in a similar manner before.
Akeer inquires about the situation. Angad expresses his desire for Gurnoor to remain with them, as he was the one who hired her. Meanwhile, Beeja instructs her aides to monitor the arrival and departure of a blue car that picks up a child from school. A staff member questions his colleague about providing the wrong color of car to the woman in question. The colleague explains that Gurnoor miss is a kind-hearted person and these suspicious-looking women may not be able to locate her.
Manveer inquires if Gurnoor wishes to use her resemblance to Akeer’s mother to her advantage. Gurnoor, in turn, questions whether Manveer had childhood aspirations of becoming a police officer and is now using that interrogation style on her. Irritated, Manveer exclaims at this nonsensical accusation. Gurnoor responds that she is weary of these constant inquiries and clarifies that she did not plan for her face to resemble Akeer’s mother’s- it is simply a coincidence. She asserts that the only reason she is here is to care for Akeer and nothing else, as per her professional duties.
Angad contacts Garry, requesting that he remove Akeer from the current location. This is due to Mamma conducting an interview with Gurnoor and Angad does not want Akeer witnessing any potential inappropriate behavior. Garry then invites Akeer to join him, mentioning a surprise planned by Simran. However, Akeer expresses his desire to stay with Gurnoor. Nonetheless, Garry assures him that Gurnoor will not be leaving and takes Akeer with him. He ponders on how he will now arrange a surprise gift for Akeer.
Gurnoor informs Manveer that it was divine intervention that caused her to resemble Sahiba, and if they had met, Sahiba would have noticed the resemblance. Manveer argues that Gurnoor’s ramblings wouldn’t matter if Sahiba were still alive. Gurnoor then questions whether they were on good terms, noting that there is usually some sort of playful banter between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law; she addresses Manveer as “madam.”
Manveer cautions her against using the term madam, remembering how Sahiba had referred to her in that way. Gurnoor then inquires if she can address her as aunty ji, and wonders if her employment is secured. Manveer informs her that she is currently on probation and must take good care of Akeer and make a good impression if she desires a permanent position. Gurnoor expresses gratitude, to which Manveer requests to see her ID card. Upon seeing Gurnoor’s burnt ID, Zoravar’s actions come to mind. Gurnoor shows the damaged card and gets approval from Manveer. She secretly hopes that Zoravar will not discover her true identity.
Zoravar angrily lashes out at pillows, while Beeja updates him on Gurnoor’s whereabouts and her plans to apprehend her. The aide inquires about Sarkar’s instructions, to which Beeja reveals that she intends to eliminate Gurnoor, but Zoravar wants her alive for his own retribution. Meanwhile, the maid escorts Gurnoor to the guest room, which impresses her with its opulence. Suddenly, Angad approaches and startles Gurnoor, who quickly calms upon realizing it is him. Angad then asks about their conversation with “mamma,” to which Gurnoor responds with their deal for her probationary period and earning approval through hard work.
Upon returning to his room, Angad becomes overwhelmed as he gazes at Sahiba’s photo. He expresses to her how pleased Akeer seemed upon Gurnoor’s arrival, but acknowledges that he can empathize with the turmoil going on in Akeer’s thoughts. Meanwhile, as Gurnoor unpacks her bag, she reflects on Zoravar’s tyrannical ways and is startled by Angad’s attempt to persuade Akeer to go to bed early.
Angad advises Akeer to go to bed early to avoid being late for school. However, Akeer declines the suggestion. Bebe offers to sing a lullaby, but Akeer declines. Gurnoor steps in and brightens his mood with their conversation until he falls asleep. She then reminds Angad not to be too serious and encourages him to smile.

Gurnoor is a music teacher to Akeer, while Beeja informs Manveer about the girl staying in her house being a major criminal. This revelation prompts Manveer to yell at Gurnoor for keeping this information hidden and demands that she leave their home. However, Angad intervenes, stating that he always follows his mother’s orders but will not do so this time; Gurnoor will continue to reside in their house.
