Jasleen smiles at Akeer, and Sahiba wonders if she is Akeer’s secret friend. Angad is also wearing shoes and she wonders if he wants Akeer away from her since he’s Akeer’s secret friend. When Manveer calls him, Angad walks away. Sahiba thinks something is wrong. Diljeet asks what happened.
According to Sahiba, Akeer’s secret friend is real. Sahiba says he is certain Akeer is imagining. Sahiba says when a mother is about to get into trouble, she gets an intuition. Diljeet says, “Let’s go in and pray.” They all pray together. In hopes that Angad is not a secret friend, Sahiba prays for Akeer’s protection. She ties a protective thread to Akeer’s side.
Upon entering, Amu’s parents ask Harleen to get in. She hears a child’s voice and recalls abandoning her newborn baby out of wedlock in the same gurudwara. Harleen feels drowsy. Diljeet holds her tightly and makes her sit. Arminder and Amu show concern for her and ask him to take care of herself. The doctor notices Sahiba’s art and says she is doing well on the wall.
Angad asks Sahiba if Diljeet’s hospital window was repaired. The doctor confirms and asks Sahiba if she will paint his new paediatric ward. Sahiba agrees. Amu asks Angad to show her a wall he constructed. Angad takes her to the wall. She is mesmerized by the painting on the wall and sees that the artist is still painting it.
After walking to Sahiba, she tells him how outstanding her work is. She calls Angad and says how wonderful this art is. She had not seen it before. Had he ever seen it before? Angad says he has seen it many times. She says maybe since he is a jewelry designer. Angad says it’s not great because the colors are imperfect and shattered. Although she says she forgot he is Mr. Perfect, she disagrees with him this time.
Amu asks if Sahiba was present when he broke the wall and rebuilt it with his money power. He says a few people are habituated to disrespect others and show their money power. Sahiba says she was present there praying for her family when Angad crashed his car over the car to satisfy his ego.
Amu believes they are debating as though they are close friends. After leaving, Angad promises Amu he will take her to Langar. Does he know that girl, Amu asks? Angad claims he is only aware that she is a girl who paints. Amu is adamant. She is his past, which Angad reveals has returned to haunt him. If she was Sahiba, Amu queries. Angad gives a nod of approval.
They walk to the langar with Manveer and Harleen and offer service. Angad gets lost in thoughts while cutting vegetables. Manveer asks him not to think about Sahiba anymore and move on with Amanpreet. Amu’s parents also insist she move on with Angad. Amu stands shocked and asks if they asked Angad to leave.
Angad asks Manveer if she asked Amu. Amu’s parents are speaking to her. Anad sees Sahiba with Diljeet and Akeer and thinks he will show Sahiba that even he can move forward in her life. Amu agrees to marry him, but he wants to speak to her first. She agrees and says she will get them engaged soon.
Jasleen asks what is happening. Manveer explains the situation. Amu and Angad walk together. Amu’s parents look at them eagerly. Amu asks if Angad is sure. Angad says he wants to move on. Amu says she wants to move on in life as well, but…
Although Anagad knows she is in a quandary about their relationship because of the past, he wants to clarify that their beginning will be one of friendship, and he has given up on love since he failed. Even though Amu doesn’t trust love, she does trust his friendship. He extends his hand to her and asks if she is sure. She holds it and says yes. Harleen and Manveer congratulate each other. Manveer says she feels lighter today.
Before moving forward, Arminder says he wants to speak with Angad. He takes Angad aside and says he is a doctor who saves people’s lives, but he gets brutal when it comes to his daughter, and if Angad hurts his daughter, he will not hesitate to kill Angad. Angad promises to keep Amu happy. He hugs Arminder.
Amu agrees that his engagement should occur here and asks for Amu’s opinion. Amu says the gurudwara is beautiful and her mother’s birthplace. Manveer says Angad and Amu’s engagement will be conducted tomorrow. Jasleen says that calls for a celebration. As Sahis hears that, he feels tense.
