Desperate to escape from Rumi’s grasp, Sahiba devises a plan. He offers her barbecued mushroom, claiming he knows she loves it from overhearing conversations at the college canteen. However, Sahiba feigns needing to use the washroom and Rumi informs her that in this jungle, everything is one and the same – bedroom, washroom, bathroom. Frustrated, Sahiba pleads with him to release her. Rumi obliges but warns her not to wander too far. Seizing the opportunity, Sahiba slips behind a sheet and stealthily makes her way out. Despite Rumi calling out for her upon hearing a noise, Sahiba manages to escape without being detected.
Angad notices family performing Sahiba’s antim ardaas/last prayers and thinks he should stop them since Sahiba is still alive. Veer identifies him and says he can identify his elder brother in millions and says he should not attend Sahiba’s antim ardaas. They spot the police searching for Angad and hide in the prayer room to prevent antim ardaas.
When police arrive at Brars, the inspector says they are searching for Angad and are confident he will show up. According to him, he has a shoot at sight order, so they should inform if Angad shows up. The police search for him, but Angad leaves. The inspector says he will catch Angad for sure, as a criminal escaped from his lockup for the first time. Before the inspector catches him, Angad thinks he should meet him personally.
