Gurnoor explains to Manveer that the accusations against her hold no truth and she should have talked to her before making false accusations. In response, Manveer raises her voice and asks if Gurnoor plans to tell her what to do. She then proceeds to slap her, leaving everyone in shock. Gurnoor remembers when Zoravar had slapped her before. Concerned, Angad asks Manveer why she hit Gurnoor. Justifying her actions, Manveer claims that Gurnoor took advantage of their kindness and manipulated a young child’s emotions. Bebe points out that hitting Gurnoor was not necessary, and Jasleen agrees. As a warning, Manveer declares that no one will speak about this incident. Privately, Hansraj tells Prabjot that Manveer is seeking revenge on Sahiba through Gurnoor. Curious about the truth, Angad asks for clarification on what truly happened.
Gurnoor questions Manveer’s audacity in slapping her, to which Manveer responds that Gurnoor’s actions warranted the slap. Gurnoor then challenges Manveer’s authority to make such a decision and remarks that she could respond in kind, but her morals dictate she respects elders. However, Manveer insists Gurnoor leave the house immediately and declares she will not tolerate her presence for even a moment longer. With that, Manveer turns away and leaves the room.
Angad inquires once more about the events that unfolded. Manveer mentions a conversation with the school principal, who disclosed Gurnoor’s true nature. Sahiba retreats to her room and envisions herself, adorned in traditional attire, bearing bruises from Zoravar’s abuse. She declares that she will no longer subject her soul to daily trials and instead live for herself and build her own world. With courage as her wings, she will break free from the confines of her cage.
Manveer persists in accusing Gurnoor of being a thief, claiming she stole from her former employer and fled when caught by the principal. Angad suggests that Gurnoor should have been given the chance to explain herself. However, Manveer believes a thief will never admit wrongdoing and may even corrupt others, like Akeer. As the situation escalates, Garry acknowledges that things have spiraled out of control, and Gurnoor is planning to leave. Upon hearing this, Akeer hurries to Gurnoor’s room and begs her not to go, recalling how his mother left him in the past.
As Gurnoor unlocked the door, she realized Akeer had already left. Manveer approached her, questioning if Akeer was still there and warning her to stay away from her family or face the consequences. Undeterred, Gurnoor declared that she would not be intimidated and was leaving the oppressive environment as she had vowed.
Angad contacts the school principal, who reveals that Gurnoor’s previous employer had lodged a complaint accusing her of stealing valuable items and fleeing. Angad inquires if the employer has reported this to the police. The principal responded negatively, adding that the employer was behaving strangely. Furthermore, suspicious individuals have been lurking around the school since Gurnoor’s departure. Ultimately, Angad hangs up the call.
Akeer approaches him, begging him not to let Gurnoor go. He promises to do anything he asks and even calls him “Papa.” Akeer pleads for a way to prevent Gurnoor from leaving and suggests they both go together. Angad wipes away his tears and reassures him that he won’t allow Gurnoor to go anywhere. He tells Akeer not to cry, as he can’t imagine living without him. Angad advises him to pray only to God and mentions that his mother would be upset if she saw this. He embraces Akeer, providing comfort, and asks for a solution to keep Gurnoor from leaving. With confidence, Akeer responds that he knows what to do.
With her bag in hand, Gurnoor walks to the door, replaying Akeer’s words in her mind.
Keerat halts her and inquires about her departure. Gurnoor affirms, prompting Keerat to offer her support as a friend, reminding her that she is just a phone call away. Emotions run high as they embrace. Manveer interjects, reminding Gurnoor of her status as the daughter-in-law of the Brar family and instructing her not to hug a thief. Gurnoor exits the scene. Akeer catches up with her in the corridor and asks if she is leaving. Tears well up in Gurnoor’s eyes as she expresses that he has been the greatest blessing in disguise since arriving there.
Akeer inquires about the money she is accused of taking, having been informed by Angad’s mother. He hands her his piggy bank and suggests that if she is innocent, she should confront Angad’s mother to prove it. Gurnoor attempts to embrace him, but he declines, having learned from the last time he hugged someone’s mother, and they left forever. He expresses his desire to go with her instead.
