Even when the wardboys try to take Sahiba’s body to the morgue, Angad refuses and barricades himself inside. He assures Sahiba that she can rest peacefully now that her critical surgery is over. Seerat urges Angad to open the door, while Akaal expresses his disbelief that Sahiba is no longer with them. Meanwhile, Seerat wonders why she doesn’t feel the same grief as the rest of the Brar family. Jasleen reminds her that she and Angad are now alone after Sahiba’s passing, and Seerat must take care of him from here on out.
Inder receives Sahiba’s death certificate from the doctor. Ajith gets it from Inder. Santosh and Ajith confront Brars for sacrificing their daughter and never accepting her. In addition to mourning for Sahiba, Manveer says they must also consider Angad who may lose his mental balance because he’s in denial.
The doctor calls the police and informs them that one of their patients is dead and her husband refuses to transport her body to the morgue.
The police break open the door and walk in. Angad tells Sahiba that it is too late and that he loves her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He promises to accept Simran as his sister and will himself ask Inder to adopt her.
Angad shouts how they came inside without permission. Inspector says his wife is dead. Angad refuses. Doctor tries to explain, but he refuses again. Akaal says they need to perform Sahiba’s last rites. Sahiba is still alive, so police dragged Angad aside and the wardboys carried Sahiba away on a stretcher.
