Akeer generously lends his piggy bank to Gurnoor, reminding her of the importance of not stealing as it goes against what their mother taught them. Gurnoor questions if he truly believes she is capable of such actions. She then makes her way towards a pile of burning coals. Akeer begs her not to proceed and rushes back inside. Ignoring his pleas, Gurnoor picks up burning coal and states that she would rather go without food than do anything wrong, although the real motivation behind her actions remains undisclosed. As she notices Akeer’s absence, she breaks down once again, recalling the incident where Manveer slapped her and reiterating that she is not a thief.

As Angad steps out, he swiftly moves a burning coal away from her hand and inquires about her actions. From the gate, Beeja spots Gurnoor and promptly informs Zoravar that she is standing just ahead. Zoravar intends to reprimand her and put her back in her rightful position. Eagerly, Beeja urges him to come quickly as she desires to punish Gurnoor herself. Finally, Zoravar instructs his servant to prepare for their journey to Ludhiana.

Angad inquires what Gurnoor is up to, to which she responds that she can endure most things but not be accused of theft by Akeer, as she did not take anything. As if on cue, Akeer arrives with his piggybank, and upon seeing Gurnoor’s burned hand, he embraces her tightly. This prompts Angad to think that Ms. Kaur is anxious about a child’s perception and harmed herself to prove her innocence, as she wouldn’t steal.

Gurnoor informs Akeer that she is leaving. Akeer questions why people keep leaving him, recalling how his mother left earlier, and now Gurnoor is also leaving. Gurnoor explains that she has no choice and begins heading towards the gate. Akeer desperately appeals to Angad to prevent Gurnoor from leaving. In response, Angad takes hold of Gurnoor’s hand and leads her back inside the house as Gurnoor pleads for him to let go of her hand.

Bebe inquires about Gurnoor’s source of information from Manveer. Manveer responds that she had suspicions about Gurnoor from the start, noting her overly friendly demeanor with everyone. She later received confirmation from the school principal, mentioning how Gurnoor’s face resembles Sahiba’s and her actions align with Sahiba’s. Jasleen interjects, stating that a similar appearance does not necessarily indicate similar behavior. However, Manveer persists in her usual manner of shouting and shaming others.

Jasleen informs us that Angad and Akeer are not here. Manveer suggests that he may have gone to pay Gurnoor’s salary, as the Brar family prides itself on being debt-free. Jasleen agrees with this possibility. Suddenly, Angad enters the room, holding Sahiba and Akeer’s hands. This triggered a memory for Manveer of a similar moment when Angad brought them in the same way. Prabjot remarks, “It’s deja vu.” To which Gurleen clarifies, “History is repeating itself.”

Manveer confronts Angad about bringing a thief into their home. However, Angad defends Gurleen and shows her clothes bag to prove she is not a thief. Jasleen expresses her doubt, calling the clothes cheap and from the roadside. But Angad questions if anyone would steal wearing such attire. Manveer insists that Jasleen’s opinion of Gurnoor will not be swayed, even as Angad attempts to clear her name by showing her clothes.

Angad claims that Gurnoor is not driven by money. He offered to fulfill her needs when he hired her, but she did not ask for anything. Manveer questions if Angad is suggesting that the principal made a mistake. Gurnoor wonders what Beeja may have told the principal. Angad adds that he was also falsely accused of stealing a diamond, but that does not make him a thief. Manveer yells that he cannot compare himself to Gurnoor; if she truly is innocent, why were people from Delhi searching for her in Ludhiana? He believes she must be hiding something and urges her to reveal it.

Gurnoor has had enough of the constant accusations without any end. Manveer’s humiliation towards her since she arrived is unbearable. She cannot tolerate his inhuman behavior any longer. Angad opened his bag without her permission, leaving nothing to see. As a result, she will be leaving this place.

Angad reveals that there is more to see and proceeds to display Gurnoor’s burnt hand as evidence of her self-punishment when she was falsely accused. Akeer insists that Gurnoor cannot be a mere thief. Grateful for his trust, Gurnoor expresses thanks to her. Angad emphasizes that he specifically hired Gurnoor to care for Akeer and assures her that he will not release her from the job. However, Gurnoor requests him not to pressure her as she cannot endure further humiliation. Angad clarifies that he has already done what he could for her, and now it is up to Gurnoor to make her own decision.

Akeer inquires if she truly desires to go and present his mother’s handmade puppet. He suggests she keep the puppet until he finishes building a time machine so they can embark on a search for his mother together.
