As Manveer and Jasleen entered Keerat’s room, he demanded an explanation for Gurnoor’s presence. Gurnoor clarified that they were discussing their respective relationships. However, Jasleen suspected it may have been negative talk about them. Gurnoor quickly defended her intentions, saying she only praised them as mother-in-laws. Manveer dismissed this as nonsense, reminding them that Gurnoor is her boss and not a mother-in-law figure. With a clarification from Keerat, it was revealed that Gurnoor sees Keerat as a daughter-in-law due to Manveer’s close relationship with Garry.
Jasleen inquires about Gurnoor’s whereabouts in her room. Keerat explains that she called Gurnoor to check on her well-being. Manveer reminds the group that Gurnoor is not a child. Gurnoor clarifies that Keerat is her friend, and they can contact each other anytime. Jasleen reiterates her previous warning to Keerat about befriending Gurnoor.
Manveer reminds Gurnoor of her position as a staff member and requests that she wear the appropriate attire. Despite acknowledging this, Gurnoor refuses to wear the uniform. She quickly leaves before Manveer can reprimand her again. Concerned, Manveer advises Keerat to avoid interacting with Gurnoor. However, Keerat struggles with this task as he finds distinguishing between Gurnoor and Sahiba’s appearance challenging.
Upon seeing Sahiba’s flight tickets, Angad’s emotions take over as he envisions a different scenario – one in which she had boarded the flight, and they all would have explored the world together. However, upon realizing her passport was missing, he searched for it. Gurnoor, on the other hand, has hidden Sahiba’s passport in her guitar bag. This leads Angad to wonder if Akeer may have taken it from there.
As Gurnoor combs her hair, she reflects on how she ended up in this place after leaving Delhi. Akeer enters and requests permission to come in. She welcomes him and inquires if he needs anything. Akeer responds that he dropped by and suggests that she braid her hair, as his mother used to do. He explains that braiding strengthens hair and offers to call Bebe for assistance if she is unfamiliar with the technique. Gurnoor assures him that she is capable of braiding her hair.
Angad inquires about Akeer’s whereabouts from Simran, and she informs him that Akeer is currently in Gurnoor’s room. Angad then reminds Simran to call the elders respectfully. Later, when Angad enters Gurnoor’s room, he is captivated by her braided hair, which reminds him of Sahiba. Gurnoor notices his reaction and asks if he needs something. Angad then questions why Gurnoor changed her hairstyle.
According to Gurnoor, Akeer came up with the idea, and it’s pleasant. However, Angad believes that she should be mindful of her boundaries as an employee. This causes Akeer to question why he reprimands his instructor and storms off in frustration. Gurnoor then questions why Angad is reacting so strongly to Akeer simply braiding her hair, explaining that it was something her mother used to do when she was younger, and Akeer had asked her to do it again today. However, Angad insists that she focus on Akeer’s studies and change her hairstyle.
Gurnoor questions why she should follow his orders, believing he is not as arrogant as his mother. However, she was proven mistaken. Angad inquires about what mistake he made. Gurnoor explains that his mother constantly reminds her of her position as staff and behaves arrogantly, causing people like him and his mother to ruin others’ moods and lose control. This reminder brings to mind Sahiba’s words about the same issue, causing Angad to leave the conversation abruptly. As Gurnoor reflects on this interruption, she realizes that she has to teach Akeer and impart moral values to his father.
Beeja ponders Gurnoor’s whereabouts while Zoravar interrupts with a change of plans. He will hold off on his arrival until the enemy believes they have won and then launch a surprise attack. He intends to inflict so much suffering that the enemy begs for death. Additionally, he plans to instill fear in Gurnoor by sending her a package through Beeja. Upon examining the parcel, Beeja realizes Gurnoor feels safe at Brar mansion and needs to be reminded of Zoravar’s omnipresence. Zoravar lets out a sinister laugh, prompting Beeja to mention that she raised him from a young age and is familiar with his ways.
Angad enters his room and gazes at Sahiba’s photo, reminiscing how she once said the exact words. He then remembers how Sahiba had professed her love for him before her demise. She storms in as he wonders why he always sees Sahiba in Gurnoor, clearly upset with him. However, upon overhearing his words, she stops and recalls Akeer mentioning how her mother used to braid her hair. Gurnoor apologizes to Angad and realizes that her hairstyle must have reminded him of his late wife.
Angad advises Sahiba to maintain a professional attitude and refrain from discussing Sahiba. As she lets down her hair, she assures Angad that she follows his instructions. He then gives her the option to speak or leave. Gurnoor reminds Angad that he is her boss without any further dialogue. Angad inquires if there is anything else as Gurnoor leaves in anger. Glancing at Sahiba’s photo once more, he confesses to feeling lost with her image constantly lingering around him.
