Garry calls Angad and asks him where he is. He promised Simran that he would reach home by 8 p.m., and she wouldn’t be able to cut the cake without him. He notes that he got late while trying to pick out a gift and is on his way home. With only 10 minutes left until 8 p.m., Angad speeds his car. Simran eagerly awaits him. Her friends tell her that there are only 5 minutes left before 8 p.m., but Simran knows her brother will arrive on time.
Seeing cake cherries, Bani tries to pick one. Simran hurries and pushes her aside, shouting how dare she touch her cake. Garry reassures her she is just a kid. Simran tells him not to let his daughter get out of hand. Friends taunt that it’s already 8 p.m. and her brother hasn’t arrived yet. She throws them away and asks them to leave. Garry asks Manveer to stop them all from going through the door.
Diljeet rushes Injured Akeer to the doctor’s clinic. The doctor asks him to wait in line, and Diljeet pleads with the doctor to examine his son as he is bleeding heavily. The patient asks the doctor to do so and walks away. Diljeet thanks the patient and asks the doctor to examine him now. The doctor asks what happened to his son. He says he fell off a bike. Sahiba goes outside to make a receipt. A doctor checks Akeer and says he needs an injection.
Akeer panics and says no to the injection. Diljeet panics more, imagines his son in more pain, and pleads to the doctor for a table instead. The doctor asks him if he is a doctor, but Diljeet says no and continues to plead with the doctor. Sahiba says Diljeet is right. She takes him out and tells him to stay outside, then locks the door from inside.
Gary can’t contact Angad. When Angad reaches home, he notices the kids leaving. He asks why. They say Simran asked them to leave because the party was over. Angad asks the watchmen to close the door, asks the kids to get back in, and questions how the party can end without celebrating Simran’s birthday. A brother and sister are under house arrest. One asks to get out, and one wants in, and they act like goons.
She locks herself in her room and cries. Angad knocks on her door, and she asks him to let her out. He says he’s him. She says he broke his promise and is late, but Angad says he came on time and he’s wearing a new watch and the time is just 8:05 p.m. Simran calms down and accepts the watch. Manveer says Angad is always on time, while Simran isn’t. She gets moral gyaan from Angad about the value of time, and Angad cuts her cake for her.
The doctor loads the injections. Akeer imagines the doctor as a monster and panics. From the window, Diljeet notices warns the doctor not to dare inject his son, breaks the window rods, and walks in. Akeer and Diljeet feel happy. The doctor says he doesn’t need to give the injection now, as he already did. Back at home, Sahiba scolds Diljeet for his drama at the clinic. Diljeet says he can’t see his son in pain and says he won’t have dinner as a punishment.
Akeer says he won’t eat dinner even if Papa doesn’t. Sahiba says even she won’t. Akeer tells Diljeet that they have food, and even Mamma will have food. Sahiba tells Diljeet they need to be tough on Akeer and cannot pamper him his entire life. When Akeer tears, Diljeet says, his heart hurts. It is a note Akeer writes to Sahiba that his parents fought because of him, so he will never again ride a cycle.

A district-level science competition is held at GGD International School, and Sahiba and Diljeet are informed that their son has been chosen. Angad will be invited as a chief guest to the competition. GHKPM’s Savi says Sahiba and Angad will cross paths again.
