Garry informs Angad and Veer that Gurnoor is concealing something. Veer deduces that Gurnoor’s safety is at risk. Curious, Garry questions why this is the case. Angad also expresses his desire to uncover Gurnoor’s secret with help from his brothers. Unbeknownst to them, Gurnoor eavesdrops on their discussion from behind the door. As Angad walks away, Garry hopes they are not met with disturbing revelations about him. Confused, Veer asks for clarification on the matter.
According to Garry, Angad and Gurnoor have formed a strong connection and hold mutual admiration for each other. Angad even sees shades of Sahiba in Gurnoor. As he heads towards Gurnoor’s room, Angad calls out her name. Gurnoor apologises for mentioning his wife’s name and explains that she did so out of desperation and as a means to elude their pursuers.
Angad inquires about the identity of the individuals. Gurnoor responds that she is not aware. Angad reminds her how she was clueless about the person who spread rumours about her at school, the one she avoided at the gurudwara, the one she chased after at home, and the one she had just encountered. Gurnoor reiterates that she had already expressed her lack of knowledge.
Angad inquires why she mentioned his deceased wife’s name. She explains that his brother is confused by referring to her as Sahiba. Otherwise, she would have found a means of escape from those individuals. Without hesitation, Angad grasps her hand and pulls her along. The memory of Zoravar dragging her in the same manner resurfaces for Gurnoor, causing her to resist. Once they reach his room, Gurnoor questions his behaviour. In response, Angad presents her with a gift box containing a whip and other items, prompting Gurnoor to ask about its purpose.
Gurnoor has a personal history that she cannot disclose to Angad. He inquires if this is her reason for not sharing it with him. Gurnoor reminds him they have a professional relationship as employer and employee and asks why he is interested in her matters.
Angad mentions that she plans to stay here and look after Akeer for a while, but he is curious about what is troubling her. Gurnoor responds that if anything were to happen to her, Angad shouldn’t concern himself with it. However, Angad feels that something may go wrong. Gurnoor reiterates that Angad should maintain a professional dynamic until she leaves the house. She then takes her gift box and exits the room.
Beeja tells Zoravar the news that Gurnoor will perform at an event tonight, confidently declaring that she would still sing even if her tongue were cut. Zoravar remarks on Gurnoor’s newfound bravery, while Aide inquires whether his sister-in-law will also have a solo. Zoravar believes Gurnoor will only sing for pay and expresses his disapproval of his wife singing in front of others. However, he knows how to handle the situation. Meanwhile, Gurnoor prepares for her performance.
Keerat’s dress is lovely, according to Gurnoor, who reveals she rented it for the event. Akeer expresses well wishes and uplifts her spirits. Then, Simran enters and also wishes her good luck. Gurnoor gratefully responds with a “Thanks, princess.” Simran fondly remembers Sahiba using that endearing term for her and mentions wanting to introduce them to someone special.
As Veer enters the room, Simran greets and introduces him to Akeer, mentioning that he is Angad’s son. Veer immediately likes Akeer and admires Bani’s photo on his mobile, commenting on her beauty. He then turns to Gurnoor and inquires if Bani is her daughter. Gurnoor clarifies that she is Garry and Keerat’s daughter. Akeer then eagerly asks Veer if he thinks he is cute, too, to which Veer responds with a smile, “Of course, you’re the cutest.” Akeer then curiously asks who exactly Veer is referring to.
Veer introduces himself as Angad’s uncle, and then Angad mentions that he has two uncles. Veer invites them to his show tonight, which Keerat confirms they will all attend to watch both Veer and Gurnoor perform. During the show, Veer takes Gurnoor’s wallet and gives it to Garry. Garry takes a photo of Gurnoor’s ID card and sends it to his associate to gather more information. Lastly, Veer expresses concern for Angad.
The Brar family arrives at the performance venue, giving each member a mask. However, Angad chooses not to wear his and instead walks away. Beeja and Zoravar both take their seats as they await Veer’s performance. Upon hearing Gurnoor hasn’t arrived yet, Beeja offers to check on her. In the meantime, a girl tries to flirt with Zoravar, who kindly informs her that he is already taken and his wife will be performing on stage. The girl apologizes for the misunderstanding. Finally, Gurnoor arrives at the venue, hoping to win the competition and claim the prize money.
