Angad reassures Sahiba that although he is unsure of the truth, what others assume is incorrect, he does not doubt her innocence. Overcome with emotions, Sahiba cries uncontrollably. In a determined tone, Angad vows to protect Akeer’s mother at all costs, just as she had saved him from committing a grave mistake that fateful night. Panicked thoughts race through Harneet’s mind as she worries that Sahiba may have witnessed her shooting Angad. Arminder interrupts and inquires about Sahiba’s tears then slaps her and demands to know why she kept the fact that Diljeet is her illegitimate child hidden from him. Harneet defends herself by stating that she had attempted to disclose this information numerous times but could not. Arminder questions why she remained silent even when he probed her repeatedly, accusing her of playing manipulative games without considering Amu’s well-being.
Sahiba killed Diljeet, but Harneet wanted him out of Angad’s life forever because she was worried about Amu. Upon discovering that Diljeet is her illegitimate child, Arminder says he can’t face Brars. Amu asks why she is crying and if they are concealing something from her. Harneet wipes her tears and says she doesn’t.
Akeer cries while holding Sahiba’s photo, and Simran tries to cheer him up with her stories. Sahiba remembers Akeer’s support and love for her, and Akeer remembers his mommy’s love for him as well. Simran shows her parents’ pictures and says her parents are no longer there. She didn’t know who her father was when her mamma died, and orphans had to stay in orphanages.
In tears, Akeer tells Angad that his mother has gone somewhere. Angad walks up to him. Akeer warns him that he is not his father, even though his mother claims he is his real father. Angad tries to convince Akeer that he is his father. Then Akeer asks his mother why she always calls Yaara/Diljeet his father and asks him to leave.
As Harneet tells Arminder, Sahiba must have seen her when he shot Diljeet because Diljeet called her maa when she hid behind a tree. Garry meets Sahiba and informs Akeer that he wants to meet his mother. Sahiba cries that she has killed Diljeet and will not be out soon. She recalls Diljeet calling someone mamma before dying, so Angad says that she was there and is the one who made Diljeet rich.
Angad and Garry arrive at the crime scene after the inspector informs them that something strange has been found. An expert tells them that a second bullet shell was found nearby. As Angad says, there must have been another person present, and they were unable to hear another gunshot sound because both bullets were fired simultaneously. Experts say this does not prove Sahiba innocent because the gun found at the crime scene was Sahiba’s, and there was no other weapon there.
The constable catches Arminder hiding behind a gun, and he throws the gun away and leaves, recalling exchanging a crime gun with Sahiba’s gun. Out of flashback, he calls someone and informs them that Sahiba found the secret and should be eliminated in the jail cell. Sahiba keeps crying for Akeer. One inmate pities her because she is missing her child. Another inmate says she ought to be punished for killing someone else’s son. Sahiba prays to God to protect her son from harm.

After performing pheras in the gurudwara and taking oaths again, Angad says theirs will be the 5th love story. Sahiba says all 4 love stories did not have happy endings. Angad says he will make their ending happy with her support.
