Seeing someone he viewed as his father dying in front of his eyes, Sahiba prays to God to protect her son. She does not know what he is suffering through. Arminder sends his goons to kill Sahiba and instructs him to return only after completing his mission. When the constable stops a goon disguised as a food delivery boy and says she hasn’t seen him before, the caterer says he is a new boy since the old boy is on leave.
The constable follows him. He offers food to inmates and walks away. His aide inmate finds a note in her food and reads it. The constable asks Sahiba to eat and stop crying. Seeing Sahiba crying, the inspector offers to help her meet her son in her cabin. As her son hasn’t had food yet, Sahiba says she can’t eat.
The young Akeer cries while hugging Sahiba’s photo. As it’s too late, Angad walks to him and asks him to sleep. Akeer refuses. Angad asks if he should make him sleep. Akeer warns him not to come near him as he hates his enemy uncle. Angad walks away crying. Akeer keeps crying for his mother. Bebe asks Angad if Akeer slept.
Asked if he had sung a lullaby for his son and made him sleep, Anagad replied no. As Bebe walks to Akeer, Akeer says he only wants to hear his mother’s lullaby. Bebe says he can watch his mother’s dream. Akeer agrees. She sings a lullaby and makes him fall asleep. He imagines Sahiba and Diljeet making him fall asleep.
As Angad prays to God to show him some way to prove Sahiba innocent, he dreams of someone pursuing Sahiba and killing her. As a result, he considers checking on Sahiba’s well-being. A goon inmate wakes up at midnight and strangles Sahiba from behind until Sahiba loses consciousness. As Angad reaches the police station, he is stopped by the constable.
He wants to see if his wife is okay. A constable refuses to allow him in. The inspector asks him to come tomorrow morning. He pushes the constables away and runs in, saying he will return in five minutes. The inspector orders the constable to open the door, and Angad lifts Sahiba and shakes her. Sahiba coughs and opens her eyes.
Angad notices a mark on her neck and inquires about it. Sahiba explains that the woman had tried to strangle her. However, Inmate Divya contradicts this by saying that Sahiba attempted suicide and is now placing the blame on her. Angad vouches for Sahiba’s honesty. The Inspector doubts both their stories and mentions the need for a proper investigation before making any conclusions. Determined to protect Sahiba, Angad attempts to take her away from there, but the Inspector intervenes and relocates Sahiba to another cell. Before leaving, Sahiba asks about Akeer’s well-being. To reassure her, Angad shows a picture of Akeer and promises to always be by his side, determined to prove Sahiba’s innocence.

As in Punjab’s four love stories, Angad says theirs will be the fifth. Sahiba says all four love stories didn’t have happy endings. Angad says with her support, he will make their ending happy.
