When he tries to announce Angad’s name as a sponsor, Angad signals him to refrain. Diljeet notices this. He calls Sanju Sikandar to come and receive a cheque for 50000 rupees, and Diljeet will receive a sports cycle. Angad walks up to Diljeet and congratulates him on the cycle. He apologizes for misbehaving with him the other day and says he was worried about his sister.
Diljeet says he understands what it means to lose a family member and even sees how he convinced organizers and sponsored prize money. As Angad says, he doesn’t want to waste Diljeet’s efforts, and he is happy seeing his son happy. He says he feels guilty for hitting him the other day and could trace his sister as a result. In his opinion, Diljeet hit him to get that mobile, and he did not thank him.
Akeer approaches them, and Angad brings up their previous encounter. Akeer cautions him not to discuss it with anyone. Angad inquires if Akeer is still upset with him for causing trouble for his friend. Akeer confirms, mentioning that Angad’s actions had consequences for his yaara. Angad reminds Akeer that he has already apologized for his mistake. Diljeet asks if they have a history together. Angad explains that Akeer once helped him find his way and adds that he believes Akeer’s mother is not attentive enough to him. Diljeet counters, stating that Akeer’s mother cares deeply for him. Diljeet tells him that Akeer’s birthday is tomorrow and extends an invitation to celebrate. Akeer inquires about the presence of their rude uncle at the party. Angad reveals that he initially planned to leave Panesar today but has decided to stay for Akeer’s special day. He requests Diljeet’s contact number, which prompts Diljeet to ask for his as well. Without hesitation, Angad dials Diljeet’s number from his phone. As Sahiba approaches them, Diljeet addresses her as Akeer’s mother. At this moment, Angad receives a call from the organizers and excuses himself from the conversation. Meanwhile, Diljeet realizes he forgot to ask for Angad’s name and saves it in his contacts as “sirji.” Sahiba then guides Angad to a doctor before taking him home.
She describes how Angad exchanged prize money and bought Akeer a sports cycle. When he discovered that Sirji doesn’t differentiate between rich and poor, he felt very guilty and apologized for it. He says Akeer got his cycle because of Sirji. Sahiba recalls Angad’s betrayal and says Akeer received the cycle due to Diljeet’s effort, not that of a random person.
She says she has made a decision and walks in. With Akeer’s birth certificate, she shows Diljeet’s name as his father. As Diljeet sees that, he gets highly emotional and says she gave him the best gift of his life. Sahiba says he earned it, and she will officially approve it soon. Sahiba returns to her room and thinks she has no idea why Angad is here. She prays for the protection of her family.
