Diljeet has brought phirni, a sweet, which makes Angad feel like he has tasted it before, recalling Sahiba serving it to him. He says he will bring phirni when he visits him in Ludhiana. Angad asks him to wish the champ/Akeer a happy birthday in the evening. Angad looks at the ring and feels happy, hoping Sahiba likes it. He thinks this sweet reminds him of bitter memories.
It’s Akeer’s birthday party time. Sahiba serves guests and asks Twinkle where Akeer and his papa are. Sahiba recalls Angad as Twinkle reads her horoscope and tells her she will meet someone special today who will change her life. The title track of the serial plays in the background. Sahiba says it’s all a myth; the past can never be beautiful. She searches for Akeer and Diljeet.
As Diljeet decorates his mother’s room with flowers, Akeer asks him if he is doing it for her. Diljeet answers he is doing it for her. Akeer asks if it’s also his mother’s birthday today. Diljeet says no, but something unique and asks him to keep it a secret. Sahiba approaches him. He stops her from entering the room. She offers Akeer’s stash, turning around, and he accepts it.
In his car, Anand leaves for Ludhiana. Upon leaving Panesar, he informs Garry that he has just left. He thinks about Akeer and thinks everyone wants to spend time with him. A house nearby catches his attention, and he walks there to ask them how to leave Panesar. He loses his mobile network and wonders how he will get there without knowing the route on GPS.
The picture of Akeer with Diljeet and Sahiba is perfect. Twinkle says it is a perfect family photo, and Biji says it symbolizes a happy family. The power goes out. Diljeet checks the fuse. Akeer follows him. He is told to be careful, or else he will fall. Akeer slips. Someone holds his hand. She pulls Akeer in. Angad walks in with him. Diljeet turns on the light.
Astonished to see Angad, Sahiba, and Angad remember the moment she told him about her pregnancy. Angad asks them both to leave his hand. Diljeet tells Angad he fixed the fuse and didn’t let his birthday go dark. Sahiba thinks he shouldn’t have come here. Akeer asks arrogant uncle why he came here. Angad says he shouldn’t have come, and he was here to ask him where to exit Panesar.
Diljeet is grateful he could attend the event and suggests he should leave after Akeer cuts the cake. He kindly introduces Sahiba as Akeer’s mother and his wife. Angad fondly remembers Diljeet praising Sahiba’s character and his plan to propose to her with a ring. He then proceeds to introduce Sahiba to Angad. Akeer jokes that he is an arrogant uncle, but Diljeet quickly corrects him, saying he is Angad Singh Brar, a successful businessman from Ludhiana. Biji greets Angad as he enters the room. Akeer playfully complains that their father never listens, but Sahiba interjects, saying that this evening is complicated for her.
Akeer asks Diljeet to cut a cake. Akeer asks him to light candles first. Twinkle says she lit candles, but they blew off when the power went out. She brings a matchbox with her. Garry gifted Angad and Sahiba a photo frame, but Angad broke it, so he feels his photo is incomplete. Diljeet asks him what happened.
Akeer takes Angad to the washroom because he wants to wash his hands. Sahiba asks Diljeet why he sent Akeer with that man as Akeer might say something wrong to him. Diljeet says Akeer will not because he taught him how to behave with Angad. Sahiba believes she hates Angad.
