Udne Ki Aasha 18th October 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Sachin and Renu arguing over Akash. Sayali admits Akash has made mistakes but reminds them that elders should forgive their children. She asks Paresh if his heart can truly stay away from his son. Renu smiles at Sayali’s words, and Sayali requests Paresh to forgive Akash. Renu agrees with Sayali, but Sachin says she is changing sides and warns that Akash will not come home, threatening to break his legs if he does. Renu tells him to be quiet.

Paresh says he understands but cannot agree, as he believes Akash is selfish and should stay away. He leaves without listening further.

That night, Sayali invites Renu to eat, but Renu refuses and angrily tells her to leave. Paresh notices Renu isn’t eating and calls her over. Tejas and Roshni arrive, and Tejas remarks that no one invited them for dinner. Renu tells him to eat but says she herself will not have food until Akash and Riya are brought home. She goes on a hunger strike, saying there is nothing wrong if Akash married someone he liked.

Paresh calls Tejas and Sachin aside, explaining that Renu is stubborn because of her love for Akash. Sachin insists she is just acting, but Paresh disagrees, saying she isn’t wrong as a mother. His real concern is Joy’s insulting words in the past, which he cannot forget. Paresh asks for everyone’s opinion.

Roshni says Akash made mistakes but wasn’t solely responsible and asks how long they will keep him away. As a woman, she says she understands Renu’s pain. Sachin argues that only a mother can truly understand. Tejas decides to support Renu’s wish. Sayali tells Paresh to think about the family when deciding, while Sachin warns him not to get influenced.

Finally, Paresh decides Akash and Riya can return, but on one condition – Joy and his wife must bring Riya themselves and declare they are willingly handing over their daughter. This, he says, will prove Joy’s earlier accusations wrong. Sachin laughs, saying Joy’s ego will never allow it, and Riya is just like him. Sayali asks him not to interfere, and Paresh finalises the decision.

Later, Sachin suffers from back pain. Sayali offers to massage him and insists he lie down. She works on his back and then decides to stand on it for more relief. Sachin jokes that she feels as heavy as a taxi. She accuses him of making fun of her and continues. Sachin yells in pain, and Renu rushes in. Seeing Sayali standing on Sachin’s back, Renu imagines her as Maa Kaali and is shocked.
