The episode begins with Paresh and Renu asking Akash to feed the poor. Paresh takes Akash along with him. Sachin teases Renu, while Sayali suggests giving Akash and Riya a chance to prove their love. She asks Sachin to meet Riya and believes this could help resolve the bitterness between the families. Sayali mentions the love and sacrifice of Radha and Krishna as an example. Together, they create a beautiful Jhanki.
Paresh and Akash return home, and Paresh praises the Jhanki, asking if Sayali made it alone or if Sachin helped. Sachin quips that he’s not Tejas and says he and Sayali worked on it together. Renu asks everyone to get ready, and Roshni excuses herself, saying she has some urgent work but will return soon. Paresh questions Renu for letting Roshni leave when the entire family has been stopped from doing so.
Sachin and Renu argue, but Paresh tells Sachin to get ready. Everyone prepares for the celebration. Supriya clicks a picture of Krish and sends it to Roshni, who smiles upon seeing it. Meanwhile, Renu talks to Roshni about children and how a mother always strives for their betterment. Sachin overhears their conversation and gets emotional. Renu opens her arms for Sachin, but before he can respond, Tejas arrives and hugs her.
Renu calls Tejas her Krishna and prays that he always stays close to her. Sachin feels hurt, and tears well up in his eyes. Sayali consoles Sachin, reminding him that while Renu may not have given him a mother’s love, Aaji has been both Yashoda and Devki for him. She encourages him to celebrate the festival for Aaji’s sake.
Tejas surprises everyone by saving a childhood song Renu used to sing. He plays the song, and Renu applies tilak to him. Sachin recalls his own childhood and silently wishes Renu could see him as her son.
