Sayali is stunned by this sudden softness, as Renuka rarely shows such warmth. Renuka gently says she must take proper care of Sayali, otherwise Sachin would scold her. Sayali becomes even more confused by this unusual affection. As they talk, she slowly opens up and shares memories from her childhood, thanking Renuka sincerely for looking after her today.

Soon after, Renuka realises Sayali is trembling with fever. She quickly covers her with a blanket, silences her phone so she can rest peacefully, and steps out to prepare something warm. She returns with freshly made soup, and Sayali becomes emotional while drinking it. Overcome with gratitude, she hugs Renuka tightly. Renuka tells her to call Sachin if her weakness increases. When she checks her temperature again, she notices it is very high and immediately gives her medicine.

Sayali tears up because she has longed for such motherly affection but never expected it from Renuka. After some time, her fever reduces slightly. Renuka prepares khichdi for both Sayali and Sachin, showing yet another sign of growing care. She firmly instructs Sayali to rest for the entire day.
