Udne Ki Aasha 4th October 2024 Written Update begins with Sayali hearing Sachin murmur in his sleep, accusing someone of betrayal. She looks on sadly. In the morning, Sachin wakes up disoriented and steps outside, only to be greeted by Sayali’s sarcastic taunt. He asks her not to start with him. Shubha intervenes, asking Sayali to stop and offers to bring tea for Sachin.
Sachin apologizes for coming home drunk. He shares how he went to the moneylender’s office, got into an argument, and didn’t know what else to do, so he drank. Shubha consoles him, reminding him that everyone has problems, but drinking doesn’t help. Sayali sarcastically remarks that she too will start drinking from tomorrow if that’s the solution. Shubha scolds her, and Sachin tries to lighten the moment. Shubha advises Sachin that such habits can damage one’s self-respect.
Later, while Sayali prepares garlands, Sachin chats with Dilip, who says Sayali gave him clothes. Sachin jokes and makes everyone laugh. When Shubha brings oil to massage Sachin’s head, Dilip offers to help. Sachin declines, saying only his Aaji used to apply oil with her magical hands. Sayali offers to do it, but Sachin refuses. He accidentally pours tea on his head instead of oil, causing everyone to burst into laughter.
Sachin cleans up and returns dressed for the Pooja. During the ritual, he and Sayali pour Gangajal on each other. Sachin jokes that Sayali needs more purification due to her “sins.” Despite the teasing, they perform the Pooja together with sincerity.
Dilip then presents Sachin with a gold ring as a symbol of shagun. Sachin refuses to accept it, suggesting they give it to Juhi instead. Sayali urges him to take it, but he continues to decline. Finally, he tells Shubha to give it to Sayali instead. The family then gathers to burst crackers. Sachin teases Sayali for being afraid of them. She challenges him, saying she isn’t scared. However, the moment she lights a cracker, fear takes over and she hugs Sachin tightly. The background song “Dil Ka Dariya” plays as everyone looks on with warmth.
Sachin breaks the moment by saying he has work to do and prepares to leave, while Sayali nods with a smile.
