Paresh and Sachin argue about Tejas at the beginning of the episode. He says that he will get the money from Tejas first. Sayali says we shouldn’t behave badly when someone behaves badly to us, else what will be the difference between us and them, Paresh has come here to pray, you won’t let him do so. Don’t talk in between, Sachin says.
Come, Aaji says, you won’t speak a word here. Upon meeting the pandit, Aaji says, “I’m here to give Tejas’ wedding card.” Sachin jokes. Aaji tells the pandit there were problems in his wedding before. The pandit tells Aaji not to worry, things will go smoothly now. The puja is performed. Paresh gives Aaji the first card and Aaji blesses him.
Aaji and Paresh request Sachin and Sayali to visit the temple. Riya and Akash unexpectedly cross paths. They engage in a heated argument, with Riya accusing Akash of deserving to be in jail while he reminds her of her own run-in with the law. She demands he return her money, to which he abruptly leaves. Sachin expresses his distaste for Tejas’ selfishness, which Sayali agrees with and adds that Paresh and Renu are determined for their marriage to take place. Sachin makes it clear that he wants Tejas to repay the 27 lakhs before getting married. Sayali then asks him to break a coconut for her to eat, which he does willingly and she enjoys it. She then offers him some as well, which he happily accepts.
Seeing them happy, Paresh and Aaji smile. He says Sachin has changed. Aaji says don’t worry, Sayali is sensible, she’ll change him completely. Paresh says Tejas made a mistake, and you’ve beaten him. Sachin says he has no good qualities in him, so I wanted to beat him more. Paresh says I don’t want any drama in Tejas’ marriage, we’re family, don’t get mad, Tejas got punished for his mistake, and we can’t go back.
Sayali, I understand your frustration with Tejas. Remember, as the eldest daughter-in-law of this household, it is our duty to support this marriage. After all, who else do I have? Sachin has expressed his desire for 27 lakhs, otherwise… You always bring up money matters in front of Paresh and hurt him. It’s every parent’s wish for their children to get married, yet you constantly remind Paresh of it and make him feel guilty. Tejas was tricked and lost the money. Sayali says I m angry on Tejas even now, but I can forget about it for your sake, because your happiness means a lot to me. She tells Sachin to stop worrying. Paresh says I am sure Tejas’ marriage won’t be a problem, and I have to leave now, Renu can’t handle everything by herself.
Paresh asks why, don’t I know the way, I’ll go on my own. Paresh goes. Sachin and Sayali argue. She asks him to come home, otherwise she will complain to Aaji. Sachin goes.
The food has been served, Shihani says. I’m leaving now, and I’ll be back tomorrow. She leaves. Aaji asks Sayali to have food with Sachin. Sachin says old people should eat on time. She says I’m old, but he says you’re young. She asks Sayali to sit beside Sachin and have food. As Aaji shows Sachin the food dishes, he says they’re all the same. Sayali smiles. He thinks Sayali knows, husband and wife can be brought together by eating these dishes.
Sachin says you used to say we shouldn’t eat these things at night. Aaji says you were a kid then, you’re older now. She asks Sayali to serve the food. Sachin asks why you’re smiling. Sayali says nothing. Sachin jokes. They eat the food. Roshni and Vidya check some sarees alone. She gets a call from her mother. Her mum asks her to speak to Krish about the urgent matter.
As Roshni doesn’t speak, her mum says we’ll talk to her tomorrow. She asks him to have food. Vidya says you could have spoken to Krish for a while. Roshni says no. She cries. She says I love Krish and want good for him. Vidya says he has no one except you. Aaji warns Sachin not to leave the house.
Aaji tells Sakin to go and meet my friend. He says I’ll go out and get some fresh air. She says no need, go to your room, I’m also tired, I’m sleepy. He goes to sleep. She gives a milk glass to Sayali and says have it and make Sachin drink it too. Aaji says you control him now. Sayali jokes. Aaji laughs and asks her to leave. He goes to his room. Aaji says I am going to sleep.
She prays Sayali gets happy. Sayali asks Sachin to have the milk, Aaji has sent it. Sachin says he doesn’t want to have it, I already ate a lot. He looks for the mat. Sayali says I don’t know about it. Aaji asks why. She smiles. He asks Aaji about it. Aaji asks why. He says I want to sleep. In response, she says maybe someone took it; there’s a bed, so go sleep. Sachin goes.
She comments on his lack of understanding and common sense. Sayali beams. It’s morning, Paresh and the rest of the group meet Roshni and Vidya. Paresh expresses their desire to invite her father, asking for his phone number to make the call. This causes Roshni to become anxious. She offers to send them the number instead. As Vidya observes her, Roshni maintains a cheerful demeanor. However, when Paresh reports that the number is not working, Roshni confesses that she is unsure of her father’s whereabouts and offers to take the responsibility of delivering the invitation herself. Without hesitation, Renu hands over the invitation to her. At this point, Roshni has resigned herself to revealing the truth about herself if necessary.
