Udne Ki Aasha 7th September 2024 Written Update begins with Akash reflecting on his family, while Riya urges him to stay happy in the moment. Meanwhile, Sayali notices a board listing Tanu’s wedding time and becomes suspicious about which wedding Juhi is attending. She rushes inside to find out.
Inside the temple, Akash and Riya commence their marriage rituals. Just as Akash applies sindoor in Riya’s maang, Sayali enters and is left stunned by the sight. She demands to know what’s going on and scolds Akash for his betrayal. Sayali expresses her deep disappointment, saying she always thought Akash was sensible and responsible. Riya tries to explain, but Sayali, clearly emotional, lashes out.
Sayali turns her anger towards Juhi for lying to her. She had made garlands assuming they were for customers, only to find out Juhi gave them to Akash and Riya. Despite Akash pleading with her to stop, Sayali continues to scold Juhi. Akash tries to take the blame and defends Juhi, saying it was his and Riya’s decision alone.
Sayali expresses her worry about Paresh’s reaction and lectures Akash about the importance of patience and respect for elders. Akash admits they saw no other option and that Sachin would never approve of their relationship. But Sayali strongly objects to speaking ill of Sachin, insisting he had married her only on Paresh’s wish and that their bond is still intact.
Elsewhere, Sachin is stranded due to a car breakdown and calls a mechanic for help. Meanwhile, Sayali tells Akash that Paresh had trusted him immensely and that his actions today would break that trust. She decides to call Sachin and confront Akash.
Akash tries to explain that he didn’t trick her into coming to the temple. He swears on Bappa that he meant no harm and simply wanted someone to stand by him on this significant day. Sayali insists that what he did is still wrong, regardless of intentions. When Sachin tries calling Sayali, she doesn’t answer.
Riya steps in and says they needed her blessings, which is why Akash lied to bring Sayali there. Sayali remains unmoved, saying Riya doesn’t truly know her. Riya explains that she knew Sayali had true feelings for Sachin and so she trusted her with their Varmala. Akash pleads that Riya left everything behind to be with him, and he couldn’t betray that love.
Riya emotionally reminds Sayali how she once came seeking her help for Sachin, and now she is doing the same for Akash. She begs for Sayali’s blessings. As the pandit questions if there’s an issue, Sayali reveals that the couple came to marry without their family’s knowledge. The pandit expresses surprise.
Akash and Riya go ahead and sign the wedding papers, and Akash requests Sayali to sign as a witness. Shocked, Sayali accuses them of manipulating her and is left torn, caught between emotions and principles.
